Finding the time and energy for therapy can be hard. Then there's the strange task of explaining the full context of you to a stranger. Maybe one thing requires explaining five others first. Maybe you spend most of the hour catching someone up and don't quite get to what you meant to talk about. You might mention something you're not sure matters, leave out an important detail, or say something and think, that's not quite what I meant. And sometimes you've said it, analyzed it, understood it, and still don't feel any better. I think therapy gets more interesting when we can be honest about all of that. You may be new to therapy or returning, dealing with something immediate or something you've carried for years, or just feeling off and unsure why. The adults and adolescents I work well with don't necessarily share a diagnosis, background, or reason for seeking help. What they often share is curiosity, some healthy skepticism, and a desire for a therapist they can be real with while healing from anxiety, depression, panic, shame, disconnection, creative blocks, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the harder-to-name reasons people come to therapy. I believe you deserve to feel better, but I don't think I get to decide what "better" should look like for you. You know your life in a way I never can, and I take that seriously. I see therapy as something we build together: I bring my training and perspective; you bring everything I couldn't possibly know from a diagnosis or a few sessions. The version of you that can't fit into an intake form is the one I look forward to getting to know. I take an integrative approach to psychotherapy, drawing from different ways of working depending on your needs, goals, history, and the way you make sense of the world. In session, my style is conversational, candid, creative, and nonjudgmental. Sometimes a session calls for a concrete tool. Other times, it means getting curious about a relationship, memory, story, pattern, or behavior that keeps resurfacing. I am influenced by narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking. I'm particularly interested in shame, self-compassion, and the ways we learn to cope. Time spent in outpatient substance use treatment and crisis work shaped the harm-reduction lens I bring beyond addiction, respecting your autonomy, reducing harm, and recognizing that change doesn't have to be all-or-nothing. I'm also interested in what a pattern does for you, where it helps, and where it gets in the way. Working together, you can expect a space that feels thoughtful and alive. I draw from evidence-based psychotherapy, but I don't believe good therapy has to feel formulaic. We might follow an unexpected connection or use a piece of writing, a song, or a metaphor to help us think about problems differently. Most of all, I want our work to feel real. I'm collaborative and human in the room: I ask questions, share what I notice, offer my perspective, and invite your feedback. My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t linear. I studied creative writing and worked in marketing for about half a decade before going back to school for social work. Though I always felt crushed by existential questions and the usual pangs of human condition. Changing careers taught me that it’s possible to invest in one version of your life and still decide you want something different. Becoming a therapist wasn't a linear path for me. I studied creative writing and worked in marketing for about half a decade before going back to school for social work, though I always felt crushed by existential questions and the usual pangs of the human condition. Changing careers taught me that it's possible to invest in one version of your life and still decide you want something different. Outside of work, I like making Spotify playlists with overly specific names, reading and writing fiction, doodling, working my way through The Artist’s Way, analyzing reality TV, fun pens, and breakfast food.

I provide evidence-based, effective, and collaborative psychotherapy for adolescents and emerging/young adults. My therapeutic style focuses on 1) exploration and understanding of your values, goals, and priorities, 2) elucidating adaptive and maladaptive patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and 3) helping you make behavioral changes to build a life for yourself which is more in line with your values and priorities. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and incorporate aspects of other cognitive and behavioral therapies into my practice as appropriate. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and offer DBT-informed treatment. Your unique treatment needs are the focus. As such, I encourage ongoing discussion about your progress and satisfaction with treatment. Therapy can be hard, and lasting change takes time. Give yourself some credit for seeking out services. Conditions treated include: depression, suicidal thoughts, non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, trauma and PTSD, social anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, perfectionism, attention and concentration difficulties, sleep difficulties, bereavement, relationship issues, family conflict, and excessive work/academic stress. Services are provided via telehealth.

Many insurances are accepted and services provided in-person and Telehealth. Psychotherapy will help you navigate difficulties in relationships, careers, and life in general. It will help you understand and work through the emotional roadblocks, such as anxieties and depressive moods that can cause individuals to struggle, . Modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, IMAGO, psychodynamic and relational approaches, are used in my practice. An essential feature of this approach is the development of a unique and trusting relationship between client and therapist. In a safe, non-judgmental environment, we will discuss difficulties through an exploration of presenting problems, personal history, relationships and goals.

The students I work best with are curious, thoughtful, and often in a period of deep self-questioning. Many are figuring out who they are, what they believe, and what kind of life they want to build. Some have experimented with psychedelics and are left with big questions afterward about meaning, identity, emotions, or reality itself. They want support in making sense of those experiences in a grounded, non-judgmental way. I also work well with students who feel alone or disconnected, especially when that feeling traces back to childhood experiences, family dynamics, or early trauma. These students may struggle with anxiety, sadness, shame, or a sense that they don’t quite belong. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel understood, and explore what’s coming up without pressure to have it all figured out.

As a mental health counselor dedicated to helping patients cultivate clarity and confidence, I specialize in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. My goal is to help you navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, life transitions, and/or identity explorations so you live your life fully and authentically. I believe that you are the expert on your life and that everyone is capable of growth and change, which helps me be a supportive and motivational partner to you in the therapy room. I look forward to being a part of your transformative growth in our work together. I’m passionate about helping you know yourself better, increase your psychological flexibility, and find your inner strength. We achieve this together in a collaborative and empathetic environment that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to guide you in identifying and understanding your core beliefs and patterns, and becoming aware of how these are serving or not serving you. My style is eclectic, collaborative, and person-centered so that care is tailored to your unique needs. My career began with the desire to be a teacher, a path that inspired me to help people learn more about themselves and how to interact with the world around them, not just within school subjects. This experience, along with time spent working with children, adolescents, and families who are or who have been involved in the legal, justice, and child welfare systems, led me to pursue counseling. In my role now as a therapist, I’m committed to using the knowledge and wisdom gained throughout my journey by providing evidence-based mental health care that meets people where they’re at through warmth and humor. I enjoy filling my free time with friends, family, and loved ones. You’ll also often find me scrapbooking and crocheting, or out and about going for walks, spending time outside, and listening to live music.

Our drive as therapists has always been to help others, and to help guide clients into finding their inner peace at a time when so many - and understandably so - have felt an intense amount of anxiety, sadness, and just an overall sense of emotional turmoil. We work through a lot of things with our clients: how to get unstuck, establishing boundaries, feeling more confident, and finding strategies to work through the anxiety and depression that plagues so many, to name a few. Most importantly however, we hope to be able to help you reclaim your own space in a world that demands you to be quiet. To be able to really live. Unapologetically. Bravely.

Life’s challenges can at times feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety, emotional pain, relationship difficulties, or uncertainty begin to shape how we relate to ourselves and others. In these moments, it can become difficult to feel grounded, connected, or aligned with the life we want to live. Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand these experiences and develop new ways of responding to them with greater awareness, flexibility, and intention. I provide therapy for adults, older adolescents, and couples navigating interpersonal, emotional, and psychological challenges. My approach integrates process-based and behavioral science principles, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help individuals develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe therapy should be collaborative, personalized, and responsive to the unique complexities of each person's life. I combine evidence-based care with a thoughtful and compassionate approach tailored to your individual goals and values. If you are seeking support or guidance to better understand your experiences, I welcome the opportunity to connect.

Therapy can offer a space for reflection, relief, and growth. It takes courage to begin, and I will gladly come alongside to support you during our work together. As an evidence-based Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I help teens and adults of all backgrounds and identities navigate a range of mental health challenges. These include intense waves of emotion, ruminating thoughts, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, emotional regulation and self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. In our sessions, you can expect a warm and judgment-free environment that uses integrated methods to help you as a whole, not just the symptoms you experience. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring a relational, collaborative, and person-centered approach at all times. Together, we'll work to create understanding while discussing practical coping skills for your real-life experiences. I've always been drawn to learning and understanding why and how people experience the things they do, both the positives and the hardships. This also led me to want to support others, whether volunteering in my community or working professionally. Over the years, I've worked across a range of mental health settings, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and inpatient care. From these experiences, I bring a steady and open-minded perspective to each session. Outside of therapy, I love trying new restaurants with friends, playing pick ball and the guitar, and making the most of my AMC Stubs!

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a decade of experience, I work with adults across a variety of therapeutic settings, guiding them through life transitions, anxiety and depression, relational conflict, questions of identity, existential stressors, and trauma reactions. Those navigating neurodivergence, shame, relationship concerns, and questions around sexuality and meaning are also central to my work. At all times, I believe in the transformative power of human relationships and deeply respect the courage it takes to enter the therapy space. I look forward to partnering with you in whatever lies ahead. I believe therapy is both a place to connect more deeply with ourselves and an opportunity to practice new, meaningful ways of being. Therapy with me, therefore, is relational, collaborative, and integrative, balancing deeper reflection and self-exploration with practical tools for navigating life in the here and now. You can expect a warm, accepting environment where you're welcome to bring your whole self without judgment. I use psychodynamic therapy along with behavioral and mindfulness-based strategies to help you understand the patterns and experiences that shape you, while also strengthening your ability to address what's happening in the present. Our work together is tailored to who you are, what you care about, and what you hope to create. My path to becoming a therapist began with the study of literature and poetry, where I was immersed in the art of expression, meaning-making, and what it means to be human. That foundation continues to shape the way I practice, with curiosity about each person's unique story and an appreciation for the words, both spoken and unsaid, that shape our inner and outer worlds. Working out, trying new restaurants, and dancing to live music are among my favorite ways to unwind. I'm also an avid reader who enjoys long walks with friends and karaoke nights.

My focus areas include relationship patterns, unconscious dynamics, and family conflicts, particularly as they intersect with gender and identity. Direct and open, I aim to bring genuineness and compassion to our work together, and look forward to helping you find new paths for yourself. I'm passionate about therapy's power to help people live more creatively, and bring this flexible, nonjudgmental, and collaborative approach to our work. Together, we create a compassionate, dynamic, and sensitive environment tailored to your unique situation, needs, and goals so you always feel supported. I draw on psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy, along with mindfulness and a calm, sometimes humorous style, to help you feel stronger and freer. My path to becoming a therapist began with social work, teaching, and therapy in a community mental health clinic. This experience deepened my commitment to providing care that is sensitive to people's circumstances and the larger systems they navigate. Today, I bring a warm and open mind to the hidden aspects of your speech and concerns in each session. When I’m not in session, I am most often drawn to the arts and comedy.

When you’re ready to seek support, I am here to help you take the first step. As a licensed clinical social worker (LMSW) with an eclectic approach, I work with emerging adults, bicultural individuals, and those dealing with life transitions navigate stress and anxiety, self-esteem issues, identity issues, academic struggles, relationship problems, and making sense of past experiences. I aim to create space for you to process emotions and thoughts about past experiences and take away core strengths and values that empower you in your future life. My approach starts with collaboration and pulls from a relationship of mutual respect and trust to engender your lasting growth and self-discovery. In our time together, you can expect a dynamic and non-judgmental environment where we change approaches to fit your needs and work to get closer to emotional truths. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic modalities, and other therapeutic approaches to help you get to the roots of your beliefs and behaviors. At all times, I believe in honesty and transparency, helping me to connect warmly and be present to you. I look forward to helping you find acceptance and balance throughout our sessions. My experience as a bicultural person navigating corporate and academic spaces drove me to become a therapist who helps individuals understand their values and identities separate from judgements of those around them. After witnessing members of my community become increasingly disconnected from themselves, I became deeply committed to providing a validating and respectful processing space on the road to each person's journey of self-actualization. When I’m not working, I love indulging in my hobbies – getting lost in a good book, playing board games, and exploring new cuisines!
