Hi! I am a social work therapist who is dedicated to helping individuals to optimize their functioning and joy. What do you value? What do you need right now in order to be able to pursue those values? Sometimes life experiences and stresses can make it difficult to focus on what is most meaningful to us. You are not alone. I offer a judgement free space to express your concerns, explore your values, and uncover your inner strengths and resources. I use an eclectic, person-centered approach to therapy and use psychoeducation, mindfulness, and strengths-based perspective in my practice. I will collaborate with you to create a plan that addresses your specific needs and concerns. I am down-to-earth, compassionate, and often use humor (when appropriate) to facilitate our work. If you think that we may be a good fit, please contact me to schedule an appointment. I look forward to helping you reclaim quality connections and joy.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adolescents and young adults to help them better navigate their daily lives and struggles through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy and other modalities to live a life of VITALity. Experienced I have worked in community mental health and crisis services for over eight years supporting a diverse group of clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Over the years, I have realized that I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, suicide, crises, trauma, and phobias. Flexible My approach to therapy is warm and inviting. I always focus on building rapport from the start, as having a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to making progress in therapy. I strive to maintain flexibility during sessions in order to meet you where you are at, offering both a person-centered approach along with more directive, guiding modalities through cognitive behavioral therapy. Whatever you're hoping to get out of therapy, I'll be there to help you reach your goals.
WELCOME! I'm so glad you're here. Many of the people I work with are adults who’ve carried more than their fair share — the ones who look capable on the outside but feel anxious or disconnected on the inside. They've usually spent years masking ADHD/AuDHD, are deeply sensitive, and/or are trying to heal from complex trauma (CPTSD). If this sounds like you, I want you to know you're not alone, and you don’t have to keep trying to “figure it out” by yourself. I won’t hand you a checklist or tell you to breathe it away - I promise! Therapy with me is about noticing what’s alive for you and finding ways to move through patterns that have kept you stuck. With over 25 years of experience, and decades dedicated to my own recovery, I offer both professional expertise and a deeply lived understanding to our sessions. I’m quirky, a little unconventional, and definitely human. In our work together, we'll go beyond simply talking about your life. I'll help you to shift out of over-thinking and connect with the wisdom of your heart and body. That’s where your strength and self-trust already live, and where the parts of you that know how to heal can be heard. My therapy dog, Leasel, often joins us, offering her calm presence when words aren’t enough. I draw from approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapy, integrated with Conscious Living principles. This work helps us uncover patterns that have been shaping your experiences and guides you toward change that's meaningful and actually lasts. Why I May Be A Good Fit For You I believe complex trauma shapes how we connect and move through the world—but those patterns can soften when we’re met with compassion and someone who’s been there. I grew up in a family that looked good on the outside but was marked by addiction and narcissism and it taught me how essential it is to be seen for who we truly are. I'm passionate about helping sensitive people know that hope is real, no matter what. I believe healing happens when we can be honest with ourselves and experience real connection. I show up as a real person—warm and down-to-earth. I also believe animals and nature offer healing when words fall short. I care deeply about neurodivergent folks, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and creating space for anyone who’s ever felt like they're on the outside looking in. I look forward to connecting with you!

I am a believer that we are all interconnected. Our relationships matter most to our wellbeing. And while we are living in a time where we are easily able to connect with one another, we have also never been so isolated and alone. The messages we receive from our greater systems often are at odds with what I know contribute to our wellbeing. Because of that we can often feel stuck, less than, or constantly hustling for “that thing.” We can end up chasing the wrong thing and find ourselves perpetually behind or inadequate. Our culture often places so much emphasis on outcomes, appearance, and external or material things. I sincerely believe that they are often at the root of our unhappiness. We often are doing the thing we think will help us but it ultimately harms us! We are doing it wrong. Together we will explore the often painful and uncomfortable spaces within and work from an Inside-Out approach. In doing so, we find that the storms tend to be more universal, we see our common humanity, we develop more self compassion and compassion and empathy for others. When we are our authentic selves, we become more free and our sessions will include plenty of laughing even as we dive into the parts that feel hard. We were never meant to do this life alone. And yet – so many of us are often sold on false narratives that “it’s just you” or have been invalidated, shamed, or traumatized by oppressive systems on the larger scale or within our own homes. My pride in the work is to help you become your best self, the one who is not merely living, but the one who is truly alive. Feeling it all, skin in the game, open to heartbreak, receptive to joy. Facing our pain is not easy (I know this well!). But I know deeply that when we do the right kind of hard, our efforts are fruitful beyond measure. Let’s face this together.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience, I fully appreciate the importance of finding the right match with a therapist who can offer a compassionate and professional approach to navigating life's challenges. I embrace what may be very painful difficulties as opportunities for positive growth and problem solving, while holding sacred the courage and curiosity it takes to embark upon a very personal therapeutic journey. Being a student inevitably includes personal transformation and growth, not to mention stress and the need for problem solving skills! Getting support, be it brief in nature, or for longer-term emotional regulation, can be invaluable during times of such transition. I offer particular expertise in such areas as: treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, healing from past abuse/victimization (particularly sexual abuse), and EMDR Therapy, in addition to addressing life transitions, the impacts of social injustice and oppression, and overall stress management and relationship restoration.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with eight years of experience in person-centered and narrative-based therapy, working with youth through adulthood, with a particular focus on teens and young adults. Together, we'll navigate a confusing world so you can build greater self-understanding. I believe our past holds the key to our present behaviors, and that key can open the door to changing our future ones. The issues we struggle with aren't always the root cause, though; my goal is to help you identify what's truly underlying them, so we can get to the heart of what's going on. When you work with me, you'll find I'm a nerd who enjoys humor, with a mind that splits somewhere between Sherlock Holmes and Mr. Rogers. By exploring your past experiences through narrative-based approaches, I aim to empower you with a person-centered perspective. You already hold the answers to your own questions, so my role is to guide and support you as you discover your own solutions. Think of me as your hype person: I'll kindly point out patterns that may be getting in the way of your goals. While sitting in class, I listened to my classmates talk about the major impact therapy had on them. I’d heard of therapy before, but didn't grow up with the concept myself. Thinking back on my upbringing, I saw how many people in my community struggled without that kind of support. I come from a family of helpers, and that legacy stayed with me. Today, I bring a calming atmosphere, humor, and, of course, a helping hand to lift you during the hard times. My hobbies include art museums, concerts, nerdy things such as the Mile High comics, and going on adventures with friends.
At Zephyr Behavioral Health and Wellness, we work best with students who feel like they’ve been pushing through life on hard mode. You might be overwhelmed, burned out, or constantly second-guessing yourself. Maybe school feels harder than it should, relationships feel confusing, or you’re exhausted from trying to keep up with expectations that don’t quite fit who you are. Many of the students we support are neurodivergent (including ADHD, autism, or sensory differences), navigating anxiety or depression, or carrying the weight of chronic stress or past experiences. Some come to us feeling stuck or misunderstood. Others are high-achieving but quietly struggling beneath the surface. You don’t need to have everything figured out to get started. Our team focuses on creating a space that is affirming, collaborative, and practical. Where you can show up as you are and build tools that actually work for your brain, your goals, and your life. If you’re looking for support that feels respectful, personalized, and aligned with who you are, Zephyr may be a good fit for you.
