Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. I work best with individuals who are navigating the impact of trauma and who are open to exploring how their past continues to live in their body and shape their present. Together, we’ll gently uncover how your experiences have influenced your nervous system, your emotions, and your inner narrative—so that healing can begin not just in the mind, but in the body as well. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that the body holds deep wisdom. Through Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, yoga, breathwork, and sound therapy, I support clients in reconnecting with their inner guidance system—the intuition that emerges when we truly listen inward. This work can bring about clarity, regulation, and a felt sense of peace that goes beyond intellectual insight. At its core, my work is relational and intuitive. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens in connection—with self, with body, and with another safe presence. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you explore your story and reconnect with your innate capacity for resilience and wholeness. If you’re feeling the pull toward deeper healing—toward safety, embodiment, and self-trust—I invite you to schedule a consultation. You don’t have to do this alone.

Welcome, I’m Natoyia Harris, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities. My background includes crisis support, counseling, and case management with people from many different walks of life. What I bring to each session is compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to helping you unmask the layers of disappointment, rejection, or emotions that may feel too heavy to carry alone. I work with individuals who are struggling to manage the many paths and pressures that impact their lives—whether that means navigating stress, life transitions, relationships, or unprocessed emotions. My goal is to bridge the gap by providing a holistic approach to therapy that is centered on you as a unique individual. “I believe healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and understood. I strive to create a space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment.”

Psychologist
Georgetown, TX

Hello! I’m Dr. Ryne Pulido. I’m a husband, father, and psychologist in Texas. I’m so excited to help folks build lives experienced as worth living and sharing. I started out as a therapist for children, adolescents, and young adults. Initially, “young adult” referred to college students. Then “young adult” expanded to include medical and law school students. And then it expanded to include early career professionals. Now, it has expanded to early career professionals struggling to #adult. Your struggle is real. Many of my clients struggle with intense emotional pain stemming from feelings of unlovability and fear of rejection. Their pain acts like an emotional dictator that commands them to withdraw from friends, family, work, school, hobbies, passions, interests, and other activities that make life worth living. Increasingly distant from their values (who they want to be deep inside their hearts) and goals (what they want to accomplish), they feel directionless and unsure of their best life because they’re so focused on protecting themselves from emotional pain. If this sounds like you, know it doesn’t have to be this way. You deserve a life worth living and sharing. Imagine what it would be like to control your actions (the things you do and say) amidst an emotional storm. What if you could be the person you want to be and move toward your goals just 20% more often? What would your relationships be like? Where would your career be? How much better would your sleep be?! Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I utilize a modern form of the tried-and-true Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Although ACT involves a radically new approach to happiness, over 1,000 clinical trials have been published in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating its effectiveness with diverse populations struggling with a wide range of psychological problems. ACT is focused on creating richer, fuller, and more meaningful lives rather than solely symptom reduction. When your life is bigger, the pain is smaller by comparison. ACT is a very active form of therapy. It’s not just talking about your problems and feelings (although there is always space for that). You will learn practical skills to move from struggling to flourishing. We will move through the program step-by-step, learning skills that build on each other. The good news is the skills are easy to learn and effective. You are headed into the unknown. Unfortunately, counseling and therapy is not 100% effective. Although I accept commercial insurance (if you go through Alma) and the Lotus Fund, the risk of committing time, money, effort, and heart to something that doesn’t work out is very real. I also can’t promise that you won’t feel uncomfortable, judged, and misunderstood, but you will have permission to express yourself and stop anything that is uncomfortable. I’ll listen with an open mind and you’re in the driver’s seat. But you are not alone. It’s your journey, but we’re a team—working together to help you become the person you want to be and build the life you want to live and share. All brains matter. I’ve spent my entire professional career working with neurodivergent folks and their families. I have a special place in my heart for ADHDers, autistics, and people with strong personalities. Are you in Texas, prefer virtual care, and ready to get to work? You can contact me by email (admin@rynepulidophd.com) or by calling or texting 512-537-4743. (Note it can take up to 72 hours for me to return a call, email, or text. If you are in a mental health emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest ER). …and if you’re sort of ready that’s cool too. Reach out to me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation! Need financial help? I offer sliding-scale fee slots via Open Path Collective. These slots are extremely limited, so please get in touch with me before signing up to work with me. I also accept the Lotus Fund via the Asian Mental Health Collective.

There's an exhaustion and isolation that often come with mental health struggles. It’s easy to feel trapped in a cycle, simultaneously yearning for change and fearing it – especially when the cycle involves suicidal ideation, self-harm, substance use, addiction, or disordered eating. They all become ingrained in one's identity, making the idea of letting go terrifying. I want my clients to know there's more to them than their struggles. I'm here to support and guide them as they uncover their resilience and empowerment underneath the depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, and PTSD. I meet my clients where they are, simultaneously holding space for their emotions, thoughts, and current behaviors; all while gently guiding them out of the patterns that have been keeping them stuck. My goal is to strike a balance in our time together, seamlessly blending acceptance and change strategies to ensure a comprehensive and supportive experience. If you’re ready to discover your authentic self underneath self-destructive tendencies, please reach out. You deserve to live a life in which you are excited to participate—not just a life you passively tolerate. That life is out there, waiting for you. I would love to walk alongside you on your journey to help you take hold of it.

My goal is to help clients who have trauma, specifically medical trauma, manage their symptoms and learn how to navigate life again! I am most interested in helping people connect to their mind and body again, so they truly feel like they are living in their bodies and being present. Therapy is a collaborative process, so there is a level of trust that must go into each client and each session. My areas of interest as a counselor are trauma-focused, veterans, medical trauma, depression/anxiety, substance use, and sexual assault survivors.
