Relationships are the most rewarding and often the most difficult parts of our lives. If you're struggling in your romantic relationship, friendships, family or even in your relationship with yourself...you're not alone. Negative thoughts and feelings can keep you from the life you want with the people you love. Counseling can give you the support and encouragement you need to help move forward and find new, better ways to communicate and connect. It can be difficult to know who to trust with the things you're going through. Therapy offers you a confidential, comfortable place to talk about the things in your life that are hard to share with others. Together, we can uncover your strengths and use them to create a plan to give you relief from the uncomfortable place you're in today.

Hi, I'm Michelle Gorden, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am currently training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Gottman Method for couples. I specialize in treating mood disorders, trauma, and PTSD. My background is diverse and supports my ability to help my clients reach their highest potential. I have worked in criminal justice, crisis stabilization, case management, and residential treatment. I am skilled in facilitating psycho-educational groups and providing intensive outpatient therapy. I strive to work collaboratively with each client in a non-judgmental space to improve overall happiness and well-being. Counseling can help you with many stressors in life such as anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, family conflict, and self-exploration. Counseling provides a safe place to take risks, be vulnerable, gain support, and become empowered to change your life. I have a laid-back style and focus on creating a safe space. My approach is pretty eclectic and my philosophy is that therapy can’t be one-size-fits-all. Treatments should be customized to each individual client, couple, or family. If you are ready to start your journey, please fill out our intake form and request to work with me.

Hi, I’m Regina (she/her), a queer, neurodivergent therapist who believes healing happens in spaces where you’re truly seen and affirmed. I bring compassion, curiosity, and a healthy dose of irreverence into the therapy room, and I deeply value the trust it takes to show up authentically—especially when the world hasn’t always made space for who you are. I primarily work with women and nonbinary adults—especially those who are late-diagnosed neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQ+ community, or navigating non-traditional relationships (like ENM or kink). If you're untangling trauma, questioning your place in a society that often feels hostile or broken, or working to rebuild self-worth in a neurotypical, cis-hetero world—you’re in the right place. My approach is eclectic and collaborative. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all mold. This work isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about reconnecting with your values, making meaning, and feeling more at home in your own mind and body. If you’re looking for a therapist who affirms your identity, respects your complexity, and understands what it means to feel like an outsider—I’d be honored to walk with you. Schedule a free consultation so we can chat about whether I’d be a good fit.

Many of the students I work with are thoughtful, hardworking, and care deeply about doing well — but inside, they often feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected. Some are managing big life changes like moving away from home, starting new relationships, or facing academic pressure. Others are dealing with past losses, identity questions, or mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, or self-criticism. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone — and you don't have to figure it out by yourself. I help students untangle complicated emotions, learn practical tools to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with what truly matters to them. Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you build a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and meaningful.

It’s normal to experience feelings of fear, loneliness, and sadness as we navigate life’s challenges. Acknowledging the need for support is both brave and deeply human. By seeking therapy, you’re showing kindness to yourself and those you care about, opening the door to more meaningful relationships. I work with individuals and couples, and I’m particularly passionate about working with college-aged adults, young professionals, and couples preparing for marriage. Whether you're building self-confidence, navigating relational anxiety, or feeling isolated, I offer a supportive environment where you can be understood and seen. If this sounds like what you need, email me to start the journey!

Psychiatrist
San Francisco, CA

My name is Dr. Aparna Atluru, and I am a Stanford trained psychiatrist, am on faculty at UCSF, and specialize in seeing young adults (18-35). I further subspecialize in treating young up and comers in high stress roles: graduate &professional students, residents/physicians and start-up founders/tech employees. I am many things professionally: academic physician, double boarded psychiatrist, skilled psychotherapist, and Harvard MBA. Given my diverse educational, training, and teaching experiences, I am able to understand high achieving young adults from a unique perspective. I feel I am the best fit for young adults who are multi-dimensional, high achieving, and are motivated to make a change. I have a very limited private practice, and only take on patients who are interested in working on their whole self from a mental health perspective. I provide both psychotherapy and medication management (if needed). As a double boarded physician specializing in psychiatry, I have extensive training in both pediatric and adult psychopharmacology. From a psychotherapy perspective, I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy and existential psychotherapy. On the personal side, I am originally from Texas, am Indian- American, and enjoy being outdoors, writing fiction and sipping on a good boba tea. My patients tell me I have a witty sense of humor, so if you can handle that, please reach out and lets see if we can work together!

The clients I see are sometimes in college experiencing feelings of overwhelm or feeling low. These clients describe their challenges as feeling, “como con miedo,” and also, “no se que tengo.” Other clients I see are future counselors who are at the beginning of their careers and facing imposter syndrome ( “I must’ve slipped through the cracks to get to where I am now”), self-criticism (“Why can’t I get my life together!"), or burnout (feeling fatigued and like you can never catch up). These clients are usually part of activist movements or workplaces and I believe in helping the healers that are out in the world making a positive impact on society. I benefited greatly from my own experiences with counseling when I was in grad school (still do) and I hope to provide the same non-judgmental opportunities to cry or laugh or both to future clients. In my work I value humility, curiosity, self-compassion and humor. I believe these are needed to provide authenticity and support at a time when people starting out in their fields of work are taking in new information that is stretching/challenging perspectives and care for the self is a necessity to continue doing challenging work.

The number one complaint I hear from my clients about past experiences with therapy is how impersonal and detached their experience felt. They craved more warmth, and a vested interest from their therapist in their growth — an ideal mixture of sincerity, kindness, advocacy, and accountability. Tailor-made for women, my approach weaves together all of these elements, creating a container that provides powerful and life-changing results. A sense of feeling safe, seen, and understood takes precedence over “fixing things,” since I don’t buy into the belief that any of us are broken to begin with. So, if you’re struggling with things like high anxiety, low-self worth, or simply feeling lost, then you’ve come to the right place. Together, we will work to break past your limiting behaviors and create space for self-compassion, deep emotional healing, and enriching relationships.

Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Decatur, TX

Hi, I am Dani Manetta, LCSW—a Marine Corps veteran, therapist, and mom. I work with teens (13+), adults, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges, including co-parenting and blended family dynamics. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I offer structure when it’s needed and space when it’s time to process. Whether you’re a parent worried about your teen or an individual feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I’m here to help you build insight, confidence, and meaningful change. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I bring a mix of evidence-based tools, real-life perspective, and a strong belief that growth happens when we feel truly seen and supported. Whether you’re looking to process past pain, set boundaries, or just find your footing again, I’m here to help you feel more confident, capable, and connected. Whether you’re a teen, an adult, or a parent seeking support, the first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what’s been on your mind or weighing you down, and what you hope to change or better understand. I’ll ask questions to get a fuller picture of your life, relationships, and experiences—but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. I know the first session can feel a little awkward or nerve-wracking, especially if therapy is new. That’s okay. My job is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. We’ll move at your pace, explore what matters most to you, and begin to build a plan together. You won’t leave with all the answers, but you will leave with a sense of clarity, direction, and—hopefully—relief that you’ve taken the first step
