You feel like there's a rule book for life that you missed. Things were ok until college started, but now the social stressors, time management, relationships, or even just getting easy assignments done is hard. You have/need an ADHD or Autism diagnosis, or maybe people tell you that you should, but what does that really mean? I can help you understand what this means for you; how impacts you, and what this might mean in relationships. This might include work on planning, executive functioning, anxiety, working on personal goal setting/finding direction, or a diagnostic evaluation, or being yourself. You'll have a safe place to be yourself, insight into your life, and concrete tips for moving forward, allowing you to be the best possible version of yourself. It's about you.

I am a lover of liminal spaces. To me, the liminal, the “in-between”, is a space of great possibility. It lies at the edge of certainty and uncertainty. It beckons us to drop what we think we know and be with what is actually present. My identities and life experiences give me a sense of being “in-between.” I’m a gender fluid, Puerto Rican person who grew up in the diaspora. I grew up in a military family and spent my childhood moving from place to place. As an adult, I continued to move, spending years living and working in the Pacific Islands and Latin America. I explore liminal spaces in my exploration of fiber art, as well as in my music. I love to create new combinations of seemingly opposing elements, whether that is an innovative way of weaving or creating a folksy version of a salsa song. As a therapist, my “in-between” experiences reinforce my belief that when we can stay present in the place of flux, of uncertainty, then change and transformation is possible. I have spent over 8 years providing somatic, present-moment focused, and intuitive psychotherapy to survivors of sexual violence, sexual abuse and individuals experiencing grief. I combine extensive training in Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems, psychedelic-assisted therapy and mindfulness-based interventions to aid clients in creating lives they love. My activism and commitment to social justice come to bear in years of experience in community mental health. I believe that personal healing is bound in collective healing, that we are all threads in the larger tapestry of life. Through my practice, I aim to empower individuals to invest in their wholeness, health, and joy, recognizing that we are all the medicine we need.

It can be difficult to reach out for support. I am so glad that you have found this page, and look forward to the opportunity to work with you! I offer online therapy to people anywhere in Pennsylvania, and in-person sessions in University City or Paoli, PA. I support individuals and couples struggling with communication, connection, and conflict. I enjoy supporting people through life transitions, identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, care giving, grief/loss, migration, work-life balance, and self-care. I create a calm and welcoming space to help you make the changes you desire for your life. With genuineness, empathy, guidance, and humor I will support you through a process of healing, coping with everyday life, and growth. I am LGBTQ+ friendly, and seek to create safe spaces for all clients. I am a Relationship Therapist and a Licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and communities in the Philadelphia area. Prior to becoming a therapist I directed programs in a non-profit organization that serves immigrant and refugees, and worked extensively with survivors of intimate partner violence.
