Maybe you are looking to improve communication, feel misunderstood at home, or in general are trying to keep up with constant transitions. I am trauma-informed and have experience in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life skills, and meditation. I utilize holistic and integrative approaches in our therapy sessions. Everyone lives a diverse, intersectional existence with idiosyncratic experience. Acknowledging this means relating to others with inclusivity, openness, and humility. This philosophy not only humanizes students, many of whom identify as marginalized community members (e.g., BIPOC, LGBTQ+, accessibility needs, low-SES), but also honors their authenticity. Thus, I practice from an existential-humanistic-relational lens so I can naturally tailor therapy with evidence-based techniques (e.g., CBT, SFT, ACT) and psychological theories (e.g., identity, attachment, multicultural) necessary for understanding students’ intersectionality. I typically work with students experiencing elevated anxiety and depression, while specializing in identity development, interpersonal dynamics (e.g., relating to others), relational trauma, and existential concerns (e.g., authenticity, choice, meaning). Early sessions help form a therapeutic alliance, revealing underlying issues that manifest as psychological distress (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma). From there, we identify coping skills, foster hope, and alleviate symptoms as you gain insight-oriented feedback. We also collaborate to explore, discover, and empower actions for you to become the most authentic version of self. The modern world is daunting, with a pace and pivot difficult to navigate. The rapid spin of sudden chaos. Steady drift of aimless wander. Dead still of eternal stagnation. As a serving spirit, I provide a healthy space for students to be and become that who they are and will be. Here, all are welcome. Here… all are an expression of hope and self-empowerment.
Feeling truly heard and understood can be a powerful part of the healing process. Therapy offers a space to explore your emotions and experiences with confidence, and that starts with a strong therapeutic relationship. By fostering trust, safety, empathy, and a nonjudgmental atmosphere, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported in whatever you're facing. I tailor evidence-based treatments to fit your unique needs. Helping you make sense of what you are going through, grow in ways that feel meaningful, and develop practical skills that work in your everyday life. I work with adults and teens (16+) who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem challenges. I believe that together we can achieve more than we can alone. Whether you’re looking for healing, growth, or just a space to sort through your thoughts and feelings, therapy can be a valuable step. I’m here to help you make progress at your own pace. I look forward to working with you.
Life can be challenging at times. Sometimes the guidance of a professional can provide you the clarity needed to help you move forward. I work with individuals seeking treatment for depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, substance use, codependency and life transitions as well as with families wanting to improve their relationship with one another. I have 25 years of experience working with families, specifically those dealing with estrangement, substance use and mood disorders. My theoretical framework is grounded in structural and internal family systems, lifespan development and attachment theory; interventions I use are framed within the context of feminist and gender theory. As your therapist I will strive to provide a supportive, accepting and collaborative space that helps you achieve lasting change and resilience. College can be exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. At Hampton Psychological Services, we specialize in supporting college students who are juggling academic pressure, relationships, identity questions, anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions. Our therapists offer a grounded, supportive space where you can talk openly, learn practical coping skills, and build confidence in who you’re becoming. Whether you’re navigating your first semester or preparing for life after graduation, we’re here to help you feel steady, capable, and understood.
When we have something traumatic happen in our lives, we do not fully experience it because our bodies are primarily focusing on just enduring and surviving the trauma. Afterwards, we can find ourselves feeling elevated, experiencing repetitive negative thoughts, and just not feeling like ourselves. Whether you’ve experienced trauma, you've found that traditional talk therapy isn't bringing the same progress you once saw, or you're tired of revisiting painful memories over and over, I’m here to help by using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is a powerful approach that helps you process and reframe traumatic or difficult experiences without the need to constantly relive them or even talk about them. EMDR helps you break free from the emotional hold of past events, allowing you to experience lasting relief and progress. EMDR could be the transformative therapy that allows you to release the past and embrace a brighter, values-driven future. In addition to EMDR therapy, I am excited to announce that I will be offering Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) at Michigan Advanced Psychiatry of Troy, in partnership with KindMind Counseling. More information to come in December 2024!

We can manage your prescription and medications. Our Care Philosophy: I believe the best care comes from building a strong partnership with my patients. I take time to listen closely to each person’s story, value their input, and work with them to create a treatment plan that fits their goals and lifestyle. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health. I explain treatment options clearly, answer questions in plain language, and encourage open communication so patients feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. I also believe in meeting patients where they are—whether that means adjusting care to match their pace or providing extra education and resources to help them feel confident. Above all, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe and respectful environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey toward healing and wellness.
Hi, I’m Dallas, a counseling graduate intern at Resilience Counseling & Play Therapy. I work with children, teens, young adults, and college students who may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, stuck, or uncertain about life’s next steps. College can bring a lot of pressure balancing academics, relationships, work, family expectations, and mental health all at once. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I enjoy helping students navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress management, and emotional struggles that can interfere with daily life and success in school. I also have experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, and family stressors. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to talk openly, build healthy coping skills, gain confidence, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace. Whether you are struggling with something specific or simply feeling emotionally exhausted, you do not have to figure it out alone.
