I’m a licensed social worker and humanitarian deeply committed to supporting individuals and communities navigating the impacts of conflict, trauma, and inequality. My work centers on creating safe, compassionate spaces where healing, growth, and resilience can take root. With a background in global mental health and psychosocial support, I bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to therapy. I believe that healing is not one-size-fits-all—it’s a deeply personal process, shaped by our histories, identities, and hopes. Together, we’ll explore what wellness looks like for you, drawing on your strengths and wisdom every step of the way. Whether you’re seeking to process a difficult experience, reconnect with yourself, or simply need a place to breathe and reflect, I’m here to walk alongside you. I’m honored you’ve found your way here.

I believe in a body centered, mindful approach that combines evidenced based nutrition practices, resulting in an integrative and holistic approach to better nutrition, improved energy, increased mental clarity and optimal health. I enjoy helping clients develop strategies to meet their nutrition and health goals by finding foods that fit for each individual person. I do this, most importantly, by listening to their stories and experiences, honoring their unique bodies and coming up with nutrition protocols that address issues related to different disease states, food choices, supplementation and lifestyle interventions. I work often with the following conditions: eating disorders, gut health, chronic conditions, weight issues, nutrient deficiencies, food sensitivities/allergies, cardiovascular conditions, mental health and nutrition, immune related conditions and overall nutrition challanges.
I believe issues in our lives arise from a lack of connection to others and to the internal parts within ourselves. Once we strengthen these connections and resolve inner conflict, we are able to reach a state of feeling more integrated and authentic. You are the expert of yourself and I will honor that in our work together. As a counselor, I view my role as walking next to you while you process the areas of your life that are troubling you. We will know you have gotten what you needed from our work together when you feel empowered to navigate your life's challenges confidently.
In our work together it is my ultimate goal to help you overcome life's challenges and experience a vital, joyful and purposeful life. My clinical training is deeply rooted in a humanistic/holistic approach to treatment and utilizes many experientially based interventions. My style is solution focused, yet creative. A licensed clinician of 32 years, I have worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, families and couples, addressing a multitude of mental health concerns. I invite you to call for a free 15 minute consult to see if I may be a good fit based on your unique needs. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship itself can be innately healing, and that establishing rapport quickly is crucial to supporting you in the work we do together. Having recently relocated from New Jersey where I still work via Telehealth, I am now accepting clients in Colorado as well. I hope to meet you, and wish you the best on your healing journey.

The Journey to Your Internal Compass Starts with One Step. We cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond. It takes courage to seek help for personal struggles. Therapy is like having a compass. The compass provides a sense of safety for travelers as they know they can rely on it to always point them in the right direction. With a compass—any compass—we can always pause for a moment in time and take stock of where we are so that we can continue to grow and change. All of us must change course from time to time because what we are doing isn’t working. If you are struggling with addiction, alcoholism, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or trauma, allow me the honor to walk alongside you as you take the steps to the authentic you and discover your internal compass. I use evidence-based treatments tailored to individual needs to help clients attain and maintain long-term sobriety, improve relationships and well-being. I offer a safe and confidential environment on telehealth software. Healing happens within relationships and it's crucial you find a therapist you connect with. Call or email me today. Let’s walk this journey together.
As a somatic psychotherapist, I provide body-based trauma-informed therapy from humanistic, positive-values approach. I cultivate deep empathy for and with my clients in their present state. Then, by adding in breathing and awareness skills, we aim to make the present moment more tolerable, while cultivating change from within. I am a graduate of Naropa University’s Somatic Counseling Psychology program with an emphasis in Body Psychotherapy. I am trained in EMDR and am currently pursuing Relational Life Therapy RLT training.
I am multi-lingual licensed psychotherapist in private practice specializing in trauma and the emotional and somatic impact of violence on the individual and communities - whether it’s racially or gender-charged violence or the destruction of our planet - grief, anxiety, trauma, shame, feelings of despair and anger are all part of it. As faculty of the International Center for Mental Health & Human Rights, I have facilitated contemplative based trauma and resiliency trainings locally and internationally to communities on the frontlines. In my work with you, I pay attention to how constructs such as power, race, gender, socio-economics, and sociopolitical environments impact the individual, family, and community identity, well-being, and health. Traumatic experiences happen within a social context and are shaped by social and climate-related conditions. Tailoring my approach according to your concerns, challenges, and unique socio-cultural background feels essential in our work together. I have been working with adults and adolescents in the mental health and education field since 2005. I graduated from the California Institute for Integral Studies with a Master’s Degree in Integral Counseling Psychology and hold a Social Work degree from Hochschule Niederrhein in Germany. I offer individual and group psychotherapy in my office in Boulder, CO. As a psychotherapist, I take an integrative approach that includes psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, neuroscience, climate-awareness, social justice, and contemplative-based trauma and resiliency training. My work predominantly focuses on survivors of traumatic experiences as well as challenges related to shame, self-esteem, racial and multicultural identities, and climate distress. As a climate-aware psychotherapist, certified in climate psychology and member of the North America Climate Psychology Alliance, I am passionate about understanding the immediate mental health impacts of climate related disasters and long term stressors of living with the reality of climate change over time. I believe that learning emotional resiliency skills with ways of motivating effective action and creating intentional moments of reconnection with the earth and all her inhabitants, feel essential to the wellbeing of our world. I speak English, Spanish and German fluently.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma-informed care, crisis stabilization, and supportive interventions for individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Whether you’re facing a moment of crisis or working through the longer road of recovery, I am here to walk alongside you. My work is rooted in crisis response, de-escalation, and community-based behavioral health care. I believe that everyone deserves compassionate, accessible support during life's most difficult moments, and am committed to being a steady, grounded presence when you need it most. My goal is to help you find stability, safety, and a clear path toward ongoing care. When we work together, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. I draw on person-centered and strengths-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), to help you build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My style is collaborative and adaptive, meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your unique experiences, goals, and the pace that feels right for you. Above all, I am passionate about helping you access the support and stability you deserve. My path to becoming a therapist grew from a deep calling to support people through high-stress and vulnerable moments in their lives. That calling shaped not only the work I chose, but how I show up for it every day. Each experience along the way deepened my commitment to providing care that is both accessible and compassionate, particularly for those who need it most. In my practice now, I bring a grounded, empathetic presence to every session, and am honored to be a part of your journey toward healing. When I’m not working, I cherish time with the people who matter most to me, especially my daughter, family, and friends. I also enjoy getting outside, watching movies, and finding small, everyday moments to slow down and recharge. These moments of connection and rest are what keep me present and energized for the work I love.
Hello my name is Nataeah Barron. I am a licensed marriage family therapist, licensed addiction counselor, and a first responder counselor. I have abundant experience working with relationships, life stressors, life transitions, PTSD, trauma, and anxiety/depression.
Hi, I'm Dr. Sarah Hewes, founder of Evergreen Teletherapy, LLC. I am licensed (LPC) in both Colorado and Connecticut. I decided to resume my private practice in hopes of being more accessible to clients using a virtual platform. I know we are busy and maybe want to save time by just logging on and having a session:) I hear you! I have 17+ years of clinical experience working with people who have struggled with eating disorders, body image, as well as anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life transitions (i.e., early adulthood, college, job changes, loss of athletic identity, changes in family dynamics). My clients have told me they like my warm yet direct approach. I look forward to meeting you and helping support you in your journey!
Healing begins in safe, connected spaces - our practice is built on core values that guide both how we show up as clinicians and how we walk alongside our clients. At Root & Rise Collective, we value connection over correction, curiosity over judgment, and integration over quick fixes. We approach our work with healing that extends far beyond surface-level change.
You’re doing your best to manage, but something still feels stuck. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, painful past experiences, relationship struggles, or neurodivergence, these challenges can feel overwhelming. You’re tired of just getting by and want relief, clarity, and a deeper sense of purpose and stability. Through therapy, we'll explore how past experiences shape present dynamics and create space for decisions rooted in intentionality. You’re not interested in surface-level fixes—you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, shift long-standing patterns, and feel more grounded and connected in your life and relationships. I offer insight therapy that helps build resilience, deepen emotional awareness, and encourage healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Together, we create a supportive space for reflection and growth, guiding you toward meaningful change and greater well-being. My approach is warm, intuitive, and genuine—rooted in curiosity, trust, and openness. Starting therapy is a courageous step toward clarity and self-understanding. I offer a compassionate, attentive space where every part of you is welcomed—including the parts you're still making sense of or learning to embrace. If you're ready to open yourself to authentic change, I invite you to reach out. We can begin that transformation, together.
Life has a way of pulling us in more directions than we ever anticipated, and sometimes the weight of it all can make it hard to feel like yourself. With more than ten years of experience as a social worker and therapist, my work is rooted in helping people of all walks of life navigate those moments — whether you're carrying the unique pressures that come with caregiving or military service, an adult managing the demands of daily life, or simply need a little help navigating a mental health struggle. No matter what brings you here, you don't have to face it alone. Together, we'll work through anxiety, depression, grief, stress, life transitions, and self-esteem in a space that feels safe, genuine, and judgment-free. Through active listening and thoughtful conversation, my goal is for you to feel truly understood and hopeful about what lies ahead. I believe that hardship can be viewed from a lens of learning so that life can be experienced on a deeper level. That’s why I take a creative, empowering, and collaborative approach to your healing journey, not only understanding your suffering but using it to build stronger interpersonal connections. This sincere and validating relationship allows us to delve below the surface to identify the root causes of distress and create lasting change. Care is tailored to your unique vision of a brighter future and may include motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you notice improvement quickly. I was led along the therapeutic path by my spiritual beliefs highlighting the call to bring hope to a hurting world. At the same time, my own experiences as a therapy patient taught me the value of providing the highest quality of care. Together, these perspectives shape my practice now, where I remain committed to bringing competence and creativity to each session while consistently seeking feedback to ensure we are on the right track toward goal realization. Practicing gratitude, singing, and staying in touch with friends are some of my favorite self-care activities in my free time, along with listening to audiobooks, spending time in nature, walking my sweet rescue pup, and watching football. I've also grown to thoroughly enjoy eating a variety of vegetables, though I am still loyal to my sweet tooth as well!
Spring EOP is here for any step of recovery, whether or not you have been to treatment. We aim to bridge the gap between leaving treatment and the transition back to life. For individuals who need to work, attend school, and have ongoing family obligations, the limited time outpatient therapy provides may not be enough to sufficiently support the investment that’s been made in residential treatment with the continued journey of sobriety. Many clients who have experienced residential treatment find that there is a greater need for clinical support beyond one session weekly; at Spring EOP we are here to support this transition with continued, consistent care. Additionally, we understand not everyone is ready for treatment, a client does not have to be transitioning out of a higher level of care to be an ideal client for us. We are there for every step of the recovery. We offer support to loved ones through CRAFT group as well as therapy for couples, family, and loved ones. We accept ages 15 and up.

I meet with individuals, couples, and families, and I like to work with clients across time. I will help you gain a more profound understanding of your experience, a deeper connection with self and others, and a recognition of your values and beliefs, so that you can ask for and have the rich life and meaningful relationships you want and deserve.
