Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for supporting kids, teens, and young adults. I create a safe, welcoming space where clients can explore their feelings, build coping skills, and discover their strengths. My approach is collaborative and focused on helping each person find tools that truly work for them. My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to be heard and to explore their feelings without judgment. I draw from evidence-based practices to help clients build healthy coping skills, manage challenges, and feel more confident in their daily lives. Most importantly, I encourage clients to have a voice in their therapy so that we work together in a way that feels right for them.

As an experienced, compassionate clinician specializing in liberation psychology, my work centers on helping people from all backgrounds navigate complex trauma and the very real weight of systemic and interpersonal oppression. While I have a particular focus on supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults from underserved and disenfranchised communities, my door is open to anyone ready to do this work. Transparent, empathetic communication is at the heart of how I connect with the people I work with. Genuine connection matters to me and, together, we'll explore both the past and the future in a space built on trust and honesty. My passion lies in liberation from both personal trauma and systems that perpetuate harm. By taking a patient-centered and collaborative approach centered in collective action, I create the calm and intentional environment that allows you to achieve just that. Together, we'll move through experiences of intense trauma and symptoms of struggle in a way that’s tailored to your unique understanding, experiences, and needs. We accomplish this through psychoeducation paired with somatic and cognitive engagement, with a particular specialization in body-focused healing. Whatever we work through, my style stays gently direct and centered on the best path forward for you. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own mental health experiences and the journey I’ve taken to find my way through them. That path deepened my commitment to patient-centered care rooted in reclaiming a sense of control and agency. Bringing my own humanness into each session isn't something I shy away from; it's something I believe makes the work more real, more honest, and more meaningful for you. Skiing, rock climbing, and good company with even better friends are some of my favorite ways to recharge. A love of video games and coffee keeps things interesting, and growing up on the coast left me with a deep connection to the ocean that never quite fades.

Hi there! My name is Mark (he/him). I am a licensed therapist in Colorado & Ohio. My favorite population to work with is college students — it's an exciting age of discovering your self and the world around you, but it can also be a season of hardship, disappointment, and overwhelm. My undergraduate and graduate school days were some of the most formative of my life, but I also know firsthand how difficult & lonely it can be to juggle the expectations of academics, relationships, finances, and more — not to mention your own developing identity and values. I am here to help those who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out. I have extensive experience helping young adults in the U.S. and Europe navigate these crossroads. My background in emotionally focused therapy, EMDR, and neurofeedback can help you safely & effectively lean into the discomfort you are currently facing (you need to feel it to heal it!) and develop the courage to continue forward towards the path you desire. You have the answers within you; sometimes we just need some encouragement and direction. Interested in working together? Let's get in touch! I happily offer a free 30-minute phone consult. It would be an honor to walk alongside you during your academic journey.

College is like a pressure cooker of compounding transitions. On top of demanding coursework, you are likely navigating the intense world of identity exploration. This can mean a lot of things; from the deeply personal layers of discovering your sexual orientation and gender identity, to simply figuring out who you are as an individual and what you actually want out of romantic and sexual relationships. As a queer therapist, I intimately understand the unique difficulties of navigating these shifts. I have walked this path myself, personally navigating profound changes in my own sexual orientation and gender identity, and I know how isolating it can feel to explore these core parts of yourself while trying to maintain your GPA. It is incredibly common to feel stuck in a major or career track that feels entirely wrong, paralyzed by the fear of starting over. I know that panic firsthand. I spent years working as a software developer before a season of deep introspection and counseling gave me the courage to make a massive pivot. Today, I am in a field I love deeply; one that brings me genuine passion far beyond a paycheck. If you are feeling misaligned with your current path, I offer specialized career counseling to help you cut through the external expectations, decode your true strengths, and confidently identify a professional field that actually fits your authentic self. Whether you are drowning in academic stress, untangling painful relationship patterns, processing trauma, or facing a complete directional pivot, you do not have to figure it out alone. Together, we will address the practical mechanics of stress management while diving deep into the relational dynamics that keep you stuck. I provide an encouraging, explicitly inclusive, and safe space where no topic is too messy or taboo. Your college years can feel incredibly destabilizing, but our work together will help you build the self-trust and clarity needed to step out of survival mode and into a life that is genuinely, authentically your own.

Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, but with the right one by your side, true healing can begin. As a clinical social worker specializing in individual psychotherapy, my goal is to make that process feel a little less daunting by offering a collaborative, supportive space where you can show up as you are. My work centers on older adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression, as well as those moving through life transitions, grief, loss, or anticipated loss. As a queer clinician, providing identity-affirming care is also central to my practice, particularly for those exploring sexuality and gender, or who face systemic barriers to self-expression and self-actualization. If you choose to work together and the connection feels right, I'm confident we can do meaningful work. My approach is strengths-based, relational, and grounded in a person-in-environment perspective, which means I consider you within the greater context of your life, your relationships, and the systems that shape your daily experience. All of my work is rooted in a social justice framework, and a deep belief in every person's inherent dignity and worth. Together, we'll explore the events and relationships — both past and present — that inform how you move through the world, building deeper self-understanding and self-compassion along the way. You can expect a warm, accepting, and responsive environment where the therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. That often means blending meaningful self-reflection with a growing toolkit of practical skills and techniques you can carry with you outside of our sessions. Before becoming a therapist, nearly a decade was spent working as a professional musician, an experience that instilled a deep appreciation for the courage and vulnerability that authentic self-expression requires. Sitting with our emotions, sharing them, and exploring them can feel scary, but it can also be genuinely beautiful, opening doors to connection and self-discovery that might otherwise stay closed. At my core, connecting with people has always been what drives me. That's why authentic curiosity, empathy, and an open mind are things I bring to every interaction. My education, lived experiences, and professional background all converge in service of one goal: creating a space where you can work toward better understanding yourself and expressing who you truly are. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me singing, traveling, or cooking and baking for the people I love. Shared meals with friends and family are something I treasure deeply, as are deep belly laughs and adventures with my husband and our dog, Bagel.

I'm so glad you're here. I specialize in counseling teen girls & young women who are struggling with the impact of past trauma(emotional, sexual, physical, relational, spiritual, etc), symptoms of anxiety, depression, major life changes, low self-worth, and challenging relationships. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with eight years of experience in person-centered and narrative-based therapy, working with youth through adulthood, with a particular focus on teens and young adults. Together, we'll navigate a confusing world so you can build greater self-understanding. I believe our past holds the key to our present behaviors, and that key can open the door to changing our future ones. The issues we struggle with aren't always the root cause, though; my goal is to help you identify what's truly underlying them, so we can get to the heart of what's going on. When you work with me, you'll find I'm a nerd who enjoys humor, with a mind that splits somewhere between Sherlock Holmes and Mr. Rogers. By exploring your past experiences through narrative-based approaches, I aim to empower you with a person-centered perspective. You already hold the answers to your own questions, so my role is to guide and support you as you discover your own solutions. Think of me as your hype person: I'll kindly point out patterns that may be getting in the way of your goals. While sitting in class, I listened to my classmates talk about the major impact therapy had on them. I’d heard of therapy before, but didn't grow up with the concept myself. Thinking back on my upbringing, I saw how many people in my community struggled without that kind of support. I come from a family of helpers, and that legacy stayed with me. Today, I bring a calming atmosphere, humor, and, of course, a helping hand to lift you during the hard times. My hobbies include art museums, concerts, nerdy things such as the Mile High comics, and going on adventures with friends.

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and care for adolescents and adults. My work centers on mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and ADHD — helping people navigate a wide range of mental health challenges so they can regain balance, improve daily functioning, and reconnect to what matters most. Whatever brings you here, I believe in taking a compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based approach that meets you where you are. Whether it’s your first time seeking psychiatric care or a continuation of a longer journey, I look forward to supporting you toward greater mental wellness and healing. Forming genuine human connections is something I'm passionate about, as I believe doing so is an integral part of how healing happens. In our work together, you can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where your concerns are genuinely valued. I use shared decision-making and supportive therapeutic techniques to help you better understand your symptoms and achieve your goals. Every treatment or medication management plan I build is individualized, tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and priorities. My path to becoming a psychiatric clinician was shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the impact mental health challenges can have on individuals and families, while being raised by my grandmother taught me compassion and resilience — values that continue to guide the way I show up for my patients. Beginning my nursing career during the COVID-19 pandemic deepened that foundation. Offering supportive care during life's most challenging moments showed me how much it matters to have someone in your corner. Those experiences strengthened my commitment to creating a safe space where patients feel heard and empowered in their journey. Outside of work, I enjoy playing beach volleyball, hiking with my boyfriend and dog, listening to live music, and exploring new places.
