Therapists for college students near Houston, TX
I love helping all people, but I truly have a passion for helping young adults, BIPOC women, perfectionists, overthinkers, and highly self-aware individuals that can't feel their feelings. I truly believe that part of my purpose in life is to help people find their peace. I practice psychotherapy, music therapy, and therapeutic movement. We can develop a plan using all three if you'd like! I also cuss a little bit, there's no evidence behind it - I just feel like it helps. If you're a young adult with any of the issues mentioned above, reach out for a consult. If you don't see your issue listed and my profile resonates with you, please reach out! You know yourself the best. I've worked with individuals throughout the lifespan with varying concerns and disorders.

Do you feel insecure in relationships, like your emotions are controlling you instead of you controlling them? Are feelings of anxiety, anger or rejection keeping you from healthy connection? You know you deserve better than what you’re allowing yourself to have, and you’re ready to start creating new patterns in your life, you're just not quite sure how to get it, and that's where I can help.
Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
My ideal client is someone navigating a significant life transition—whether it’s entering a new phase of life, adjusting to a career shift, or healing after the end of a relationship, or starting a new one. They may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves and others. They often appear high-functioning on the outside but internally struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, or emotional exhaustion. Their needs often include learning how to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen relationships. I have 13 years of experience and am licensed in three states. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, presence, and collaboration. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based practices to help clients build psychological flexibility, develop deeper self-awareness, and move toward a more values-driven life. I believe that healing begins in the context of a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Therapy is a shared process, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to show up and be vulnerable. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and insight.

Dr. Gonzales takes a personalized, collaborative approach that thoughtfully integrates medication management with evidence-based therapeutic techniques. He believes every patient deserves a safe space — one built on trust and open communication — because lasting change requires feeling safe and genuinely heard. He specializes in treating anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD across the lifespan — with a particular focus on the unique challenges facing early career professionals, young adults, college students, transitional aged youth, kids and teens. Whether you're seeking psychiatric care for the first time or you've tried other providers and are looking for a better fit, his goal is always the same: to help you grow, develop coping skills that actually work in real life, and build the kind of emotional foundation that holds. Dr. Gonzales believes that mental health care should be readily accessible — because the easier it is to engage in care, the more likely meaningful progress follows. His practice is primarily telehealth-based, removing barriers like commute time, scheduling conflicts, and the hesitation that can come with walking into an office.
