My path started by working in alternative high schools, and then as a career counselor in management and business development roles for a few universities and military populations. I have over 18 years of experience working in education, career development, and mental health. My experience growing up in Flint, Michigan, and being the first in my family to attend college, shaped how I view and overcome challenges. I specialize in support for working professionals, especially teachers, nurses, and students with anxiety or depression who are struggling in their careers, education, or relationships. Many feel stuck, burnt out, angry, and overwhelmed. Chronic stress makes it hard for them to connect with their instructors, bosses, and peers. Time management is an issue and constantly trying to keep up. Some may prefer to be alone, even though it leads to ruminating over traumatic work experiences and substance use. My clients have demanding jobs and/or class schedules, and are highly trained and accustomed to solving problems. However, no one is immune to the long-term effects of stress and trauma. I have over 18 years working in counseling, higher education, and career development. My communication style is warm, yet solution-focused, often encouraging you to think from the end, build your resilience, and focus on the future. Some clients get what they need to make a positive change in 6-8 sessions. Others enjoy my long-term support to address trauma. First time trying talk therapy? Congrats on taking the first step. I value confidentiality and understand the college campus and workplace cultures. You do not have to go through this alone. Let's get you out of survival mode and start to thrive. Reach out to schedule your complimentary 15-minute consultation today. I look forward to talking with you.

I am an over-the-top passionate millennial therapist who LOVES helping emerging adults navigate the complexities of their emotional and behavioral well-being. I hold deep-rooted values for empathy, patience, trust, and collaboration with clients and parents. I create a nurturing, relatable, and nonjudgmental space where minds can feel heard and understood. Feel like you can't control worry? Or that you lose yourself in relationships? Perhaps you feel disconnected and loney? It doesn't have to stay that way, and you don't have to go it alone. Ready to get to the root of your struggles and experience lasting change? I specialize in working with young adults and college students who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues...or all of the above. I strive to be a solid support system for my clients and care about you immensely. And I go beyond just talk therapy with EMDR, the gold-standard treatment for trauma and anxiety.
Anxiety, trauma, and childhood wounds don’t just disappear. They sneak into daily life and make things feel heavier, even when nothing seems wrong. I work with teens and adults, often helping people whose feelings weren’t fully seen or supported growing up. Anxiety and trauma can show up as overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or that constant “something’s off” feeling. I take a warm, trauma-informed approach, moving at your pace so you can feel grounded, seen, and in charge of your life. I help teens and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and childhood wounds using EMDR, Parts Work, somatic techniques, and CBT. Together we build coping skills, process difficult memories, and work toward healing. Therapy can be intense, but we also laugh, roll our eyes at anxiety, and celebrate small wins along the way. I help you care for the inner child you once needed, challenge the beliefs feeding anxiety, and rebuild self-worth. It’s okay if it’s messy, we will work through it together. Step by step, we’ll create space for calm, clarity, and connection. Reach out for a free consultation and let’s get started.

Y’all. Adulting is hard. You might be finishing school, moving out, starting a career, or trying to make big life choices that feel like they’ll define your future. It’s a lot. Between the pressure to “have your sh** together” and constantly comparing yourself to others, it’s easy to feel lost, anxious, depressed, or stuck. Stepping into adulthood can be exciting–and overwhelming. No matter how much you’ve prepared yourself for this moment, change is tough and let’s be real–adulting is hard. Growing up doesn’t come with a roadmap ( I know, I wish it did too.), but that’s because everyone’s path can look different. Many young adults come to therapy for help with challenges like: -Anxiety or stress about school, work, the future, and feeling “behind” -Overthinking and self-doubt that won’t turn off -Difficulty making decisions or feeling stuck in “what’s next” -Identity exploration–figuring out values, goals, or sense of self -Relationship changes with friends, family, or partners -Depression from not feeling like you’re good enough -Burnout from trying to do it all -Life transitions, like moving out, finishing college or starting a new job These challenges are adult growing pains, like when your legs used to hurt before you grew a couple inches. But you know, emotionally. Maybe you also have some baggage from the past that can make navigating these challenges even more difficult (Thanks parents!).

My personal passion is connecting with those who feel like no one really understands them. I can empathize, as several times in my life I have had those very same feelings. My goal is to help and inspire those who feel disconnected and struggling in life. I aspire to help my clients feel satisfaction, comfort, and joy. I have over 20 years’ experience with both civilian and government positions in the fields of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Child Advocacy, Chronic Illness and Counseling/Educational program delivery to the community. My focus is to help you through growth, change and resolution. Your journey is as distinctive as you are.
