Personal Statement Hi! I’m Mary Margaret! I’m mental health therapist with a passion for supporting individuals, specifically older adolescents and young adults, through lifestyle transitions. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages navigating school challenges, new medical diagnosis, and life transitions. My experience in diverse settings, including hospitals and schools, has shown me that no matter where you are in life, having compassion and support makes all the difference. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and work collaboratively with each client to tailor strategies that fit their unique needs and aspirations. I utilize a cognitive behavioral framework, integrating motivational interviewing, solution focused strategies, and a person-centered approach to support meaningful and lasting change. If you’re looking for a therapist who is empathetic, experienced, and dedicated to helping you navigate life's challenges, I'm here to help. Together, we can work towards finding confidence, balance, and growth.

Adolescence and young adulthood are times of great potential filled with major developmental tasks. At times those tasks can feel overwhelming. I'm Mindy and I am passionate about offering hope and unconditional positive regard to support those working through the time of life from pre-teen through young adulthood. A safe and supportive environment, recognizing patterns that no longer serve the client, and an increased self-awareness can help clients to grow into their full potential.

At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, we work best with college students who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain—even if everything looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are balancing classes, work, family expectations, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their future, all at the same time. You may be experiencing constant stress, anxiety that makes it hard to focus, low confidence, or feeling stuck in your own head. Some students come to us feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are navigating depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available. Our practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about what they’re going through without feeling rushed, labeled, or misunderstood. We focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, counseling is a collaborative process. We believe progress happens best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their growth. Our clinicians work alongside students to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen confidence in both academic and personal areas of life. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, we help students identify their values, recognize their strengths, and develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship concerns. Our goal is not just to help you get through college, but to support you in building skills and self-understanding that will serve you well beyond it.

Life experiences can have a significant impact on our sense of self, relationships, and overall well-being. My practice focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space where individuals can explore, process, and find meaning in their life experiences in a way that empowers them to live more authentically. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, I support clients in developing self-awareness and experiencing transformation at their own pace. If you’ve been feeling like you’ve kind of lost yourself lately, you’re not alone—and you’re exactly who I love working with. A lot of the people I see are juggling school, expectations, relationships, and big life decisions, while quietly feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of who they really are. You might overthink everything, struggle to say no, or feel pressure to have it all figured out—even when you don’t. In our work together, you won’t get a stiff or overly clinical experience. I show up as a real person—warm, down-to-earth, and sometimes bringing in humor when it helps take the edge off. I’ll help you slow things down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and start trusting yourself more so you can feel grounded, confident, and more like you again.

At Severance Therapy, we’re proud to be a diverse collective of clinicians and staff—some of whom identify within the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, and others who are fierce, informed allies deeply committed to this community. What unites us is a shared dedication to providing affirming, culturally competent care in a space where authenticity is celebrated, not questioned. Many of our clinicians bring personal experience with addiction recovery, sexual identity exploration, and the complexities of queer life—from coming out and dealing with internalized stigma to navigating sobriety in a culture that often centers around substances. Others have spent their professional lives walking alongside queer clients and communities, engaging in continual learning, advocacy, and personal reflection to be the kind of allies who show up loudly and consistently. Our team includes LGBTQIA+ therapists and allied professionals from a range of racial, cultural, and gender identities. Some are in long-term recovery. Some are sex-positive and kink-aware. Some bring academic expertise, while others bring years of boots-on-the-ground experience in queer spaces, harm reduction, and sober living. Together, we offer a dynamic, compassionate, and deeply relatable therapeutic environment—because we know healing happens best when you feel seen, heard, and understood by people who truly get it. Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker who practiced in a college counseling setting for over 4 years and I have 15 years of counseling experience total. I continue to work with college students in my private practice and I enjoy working with people to better manage anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief, life transitions, relationship, concerns, and general stress. My practice is body positive and LGBTQ+, immigrant, and international student supportive and affirming. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for processing fears, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I use various types of therapy, including ACT, CBT, DBT skills, somatic therapy, schema therapy, ERPT, narrative therapy, and person centered therapy, but I tailor sessions to what works best for you. I also welcome your feedback in the process. I strongly encourage coming to therapy in the way that you are most comfortable - meaning, swear if you feel the need, don't apologize for eating in sessions if you are hungry, show up in your pajamas - whatever. As long as you are safe and comfortable and you are able to talk privately, I support it. I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit, because having a therapist you trust and match with is paramount. I offer virtual telehealth sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I offer in person sessions in Kingwood, Texas on Wednesdays. Please feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to connect and I wish you the best in your therapist search!

I'm Lara, and I help overwhelmed moms who are carrying it all — the emotions, the decisions, the schedules, the invisible weight that no one else seems to see. If you’re feeling anxious, exhausted, and like you’ve lost yourself somewhere in the chaos of motherhood, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to keep doing this alone, either. As an LPC and mom of three, I deeply understand what it’s like to feel stretched thin, emotionally drained, and unseen. My work centers on helping women navigate the mental load of motherhood, find space to breathe, and reconnect with themselves. You don’t have to explain why you’re tired. You’ll be met with compassion, curiosity, and strategies that meet you exactly where you are. I hold Master’s degrees in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I’ve spent years helping women move through some of the hardest, most tender seasons of their lives. You’ve been showing up for everyone else — now it’s time for someone to show up for you
