I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy in a supportive and queer-friendly environment. I specialize in work with clients with prenatal and postpartum depression, grief, life changes, mood disorders, and substance use. I have professional experience, prior to private practice, working with young adults on an inpatient psychiatric unit and ante/postpartum parents in a hospital setting. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, drawing on mindfulness, humor, the mind-body connection, and elements of CBT and DBT, to help clients build insight and tools for their every day lives. The therapist-client relationship is an important aspect of the therapeutic dynamic in my work and I want to encourage an environment where a patient is able to speak openly and freely.

Having a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and valued is essential. I warmly invite you into a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore who you are and what your needs are in order to heal and grow. I deeply believe that you are the expert of your own experience, and I use a collaborative approach to support you in exploring, understanding, and shaping your path forward. I work with clients in both an individual and relationship capacity, helping people deepen their understanding of themselves, their connections, and their emotional intimacy with others. My areas of specialization include chronic illness, LGBTQ+ folks, neurodivergence, trauma-related dissociation, and complex trauma. As a queer, trans, and neurodiverse therapist, I know how difficult it can be to take this step. I am here to support you, exactly as you are, with care and understanding. If you're interested in seeing if we are a good fit, reach out via email or phone & we can chat about how I can support you.

I have immediate openings for adults and adolescents. Private pay only and I offer flexible scale pricing for those who wish to use it. Do you find yourself wondering why everyone else has it figured out and not you? Why is it so hard to get and stay on top of tasks and goals? Maybe you struggle getting to class on time or staying motivated on semester-long projects. Maybe you notice your relationships are all struggling but you're not sure why. These are common concerns for folks with ADHD and/or challenges with executive functioning. My work centers on helping clients identify their specific barriers and using evidence-based techniques to overcome challenges and meet your academic, professional, and relationship goals. Please reach out, I'd love to hear from you and figure out how we can get you to your goals.

College can be exciting—but it can also feel overwhelming. Adjusting to a new environment, navigating friendships, balancing classes, work, and social life—it’s a lot to manage. Being away from family or support systems can bring up feelings of loneliness, stress, or sadness that are hard to handle on your own. Therapy can help. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you and find real, sustainable ways to manage the stress, anxiety, or challenges you're facing. You’ll gain tools to cope with the pressures of student life, uncover what’s really behind your struggles, and start to feel more grounded and confident. This is your space to talk openly, be your full self, and feel heard—without judgment. Whether you're feeling stuck, stressed, or just need someone to talk to, support is here for you.

College life can be exciting and rewarding, but it can also bring new pressures, responsibilities, relationships, and challenges that can feel overwhelming. Adjusting to academic demands, navigating friendships and relationships, living away from home, managing expectations, and taking care of your mental health can sometimes feel like a lot to handle. I work with college students experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, mood concerns, trauma-related difficulties, relationship and social challenges, and the emotional stresses that often accompany major life transitions. Sometimes students know exactly what is wrong; other times, they simply know that they don't feel like themselves or that something is making it difficult to function at their best. My approach combines psychiatric medication management with psychotherapy and supportive counseling. I believe treatment should be individualized and collaborative, taking into account not only symptoms, but also the whole person and the circumstances affecting their mental health. Together, we can explore what you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be contributing to your difficulties, and develop practical strategies to help you feel more balanced and in control. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where students feel comfortable being honest about what they are experiencing. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel more grounded, and develop the tools and support you need to navigate college and life with greater confidence.

Hope, healing, and joy. For me, these are the three core values I hold closely when approaching my work in therapy. Life can be full of unpredictable challenges and facing them alone can feel extremely heavy and burdensome. My hope is that through therapy, clients can feel comfortable enough to share their hardships, and in doing so, lighten the heaviness of their burdens. Through a warm, person-centered approach, I hope to create a space where individuals feel heard and supported. I believe no one deserves to struggle alone, and I commit to being a supportive presence to help individuals work towards a path of healing and joy. As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to help individuals feel empowered to live a fulfilling life in alignment with their goals and values. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and adjustment difficulties. I also love helping people work through identity exploration and self-discovery. If these challenges resonate with you, I would be honored to work together on a path forward that feels supportive and impactful for you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. I graduated from Widener University where I earned a master’s in Social Work. While at Widener, I completed a certificate in the treatment of trauma. I began my career at Ambrosia Treatment Center, a substance abuse disorder facility. Over the past five years I have worked in all levels of care within the substance use field. I created a program to treat substance use and eating disorders concurrently. After this program I began building a private practice where I work primarily with individuals who have co-occurring eating disorders and substance use. Outside of Guide to Wellness, I help treatment centers across the country implement veterans programs at their facilities. I use a collaborative approach in treatment. I like to meet clients where they are in their lives and work collaboratively with the individual to create an individualized treatment experience. My approach draws heavily from ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), CBT and exposure therapy. I work to create a trusting, non-judgmental relationship with the individual. I see myself as someone who presents opportunities to the individual and allow them to be the decision maker. I feel my role is to help the individual see the whole picture in their choices.

The search for a counselor/therapist can be overwhelming. It is my goal to present a clear and comprehensive picture of my services and approach to therapy. I strive to create an environment where my clients can feel accepted, safe and understood. You are the expert on your life. My job is to make sure that you are utilizing all your expertise. Are you someone who feels that life has no meaning or purpose? Are feelings of depression and anxiety holding you back from finding your true potential? Many times, life transitions and sudden change can magnify these feelings of uncertainty. You are not alone. I specialize in assisting those who are uncertain of what they need or want from life. Learn ways to manage your discomfort so that you can begin to focus on what is truly important to you. The best time to consider counseling is when troubled thinking or behaviors begins to affect your daily living; jobs, friendships, family and intimate relationships. For some, these issues may be longstanding patterns that began years ago. For others, sudden changes such as a loss, crisis, trauma or addiction can trigger unfamiliar feelings that paralyze your ability to get through the day. My focus is on that voice in the head we all hear. It is the voice that shapes our perceptions of people, the world and ourselves. It is the voice that tells us that we are deficient, that life is scary, that things are never going to get better. Those thoughts are not as significant as you may believe.

If you have ADHD, you might feel like typical strategies just don’t work. That can be incredibly frustrating leading to more arguments, more stress, and a growing sense of overwhelm or uncertainty about the future. You may have already tried working with other providers and felt like nothing really changed. You’re looking for someone who truly understands ADHD, someone who can offer strategies that actually stick, while also holding you accountable in a supportive way. Managing ADHD is tough, but you don’t have to do it alone. I can help make the process easier. With specialized training from top ADHD clinics, I bring evidence-based strategies to help you better understand ADHD and build practical skills that support your well-being. My approach is goal-oriented and backed by research designed to give you clear, measurable progress over weeks not years. Therapy doesn’t have to be a long-term commitment. From the very beginning, we’ll work together to set clear goals and a plan to reach them. My priority is helping you gain the tools you need to thrive. And if you’re on the fence about starting, schedule a free consultation call to ensure it’s the right fit.
