Can you imagine what it would be like to turn the volume down on your anxiety? Anxiety is an essential part of our lives — it can keep us safe, healthy, and motivated. However there are times when our bodies can start to feel anxious, or we can be flooded with anxious thoughts and the worry is no longer helpful to us. If anxiety and anxious behaviors have started to feel like they are taking over your life, then you are in the right place. My approach is grounded in a collaborative, client-centered framework. Together, we will identify and address the specific fears and compulsions that impact your daily life. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and board-certified art therapist (ART-BC) in the state of Pennsylvania. I provide trauma-informed care for adults struggling with anxiety and OCD. I use the evidence-based practice of exposure-based cognitive behavioral therapy to support clients in gaining control over their anxiety. Anxiety and OCD are greatly misunderstood and misrepresented in our society. Often, our thoughts and behaviors can leave us feeling isolated and ashamed. I aim to build trust, allowing you to explore and confront difficult emotions and situations at a pace that feels right for you.

Welcome! Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and truly understood. Every person who walks into therapy is different, and I honor that. I work with teens, adults, and older adults navigating life’s challenges—whether it’s managing anxiety, coping with change, building confidence, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again. Some of my clients are high performers or athletes; others are just trying to manage daily stress, relationships, or emotional overwhelm. No matter your story, I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs—drawing from approaches like CBT and strengths-based strategies. I’m passionate about this work because I’ve seen how mental health impacts every part of life—from performance and relationships to life transitions and confidence. As a former West Chester University Division II athlete, I understand firsthand the mental load that comes with high performance, pressure, and pushing through—even when you’re not okay. That lived experience helps me support clients who are navigating high expectations, both in sport and in life. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where I get to know you and your goals. I believe therapy works best when it’s a team effort. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and what needs to shift. My style is a blend of warmth, honesty, and gentle challenge. I’ll always meet you where you are, but I’m not afraid to help you look at patterns that may be holding you back. Whether you need space to process, a sounding board for decision-making, or someone to help connect the dots—I’m here to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest feedback to help you make meaningful progress. If you’re ready to prioritize your well-being—whether as an individual or an athlete—I’d be honored to support you on that journey!
I'm Carly Stanton, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) offering virtual therapy for adults in Florida and Pennsylvania who've spent too long trying to fit into spaces that were never built for them. I work with outsiders, misfits, and people rebuilding — LGBTQ+ folks navigating identity and belonging, Jewish adults sorting through what their heritage actually means to them, highly sensitive people who are done apologizing for how they're wired, and anyone who's spent years being everything for everyone else and lost themselves in the process. My approach is relational, insight-oriented, and grounded in ACT and attachment-based work. I'm not here to hand you coping tips. I'm here to help you figure out who you actually are underneath all the performing. Virtual only. Free 15-minute consultation.

Have you ever felt that life can get lonely when it's so overwhelming? This is a common sentiment, and let's explore it together! My name is Annie Morris, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with adults facing a variety of life experiences including anxiety, depression, caring for aging parents, parenting, grief, marital/relational tension, and life transitions. I help by offering a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can learn about yourself, process the past, and explore who you want to be for your future. I utilize a mixture of CBT, narrative therapy, somatic work, and emotions-based therapy. In your first few sessions, we will process what life looks like for you now and what you hope to work on. Life is a beautiful, brutal mess sometimes. My hope is that in working together, we can help you to feel less alone and more connected to your life and those you love. Feel free to reach out to me with questions about if you could be a good fit for my practice. I look forward to meeting you and starting this journey together!
Many of the people I work with are Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) who are struggling to navigate multiple areas of their life like work, school, family, relationships, or the intersectionalities of their identities. Many talk about often feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck. This then kicks off to what feels like a never ending cycle of confusion, frustration, depression, and anxiety. Therapy is an opportunity to find clarity and work through these obstacles to help people get their life back on track. My clients and I work together to develop more mindful behaviors to help lead a more meaningful and healthy life. People develop certain attitudes and perspectives based on their early life experiences to survive when they were younger. But these attitudes and perspectives are not helping now which is part of the reason why people might feel stuck. By looking at these attitudes and perspectives closely, people can learn to change how they talk to themselves, how they react to their emotions. and take more thoughtful actions to move forward towards a more authentic and fulfilling life. My practice integrates several evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that encompasses principles of person-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, multiculturalism, and strength-based values. With my compassionate, collaborative, non-judgmental, and down-to-earth style, therapy can address the things that are getting in the way of people’s life so that they can move forward. COMMON EXPERIENCES THAT I WORK WITH PEOPLE ON: - It feels like your mind is playing tricks on you - It feels like your eyes or ears are playing tricks on you - It feels like something odd is going on or hard to explain - Confused at times whether something is real or imaginary - You feel suspicious or mistrustful of others - It feels like you have little control over your thoughts - It feels like others can hear your thoughts or read your mind - Having thoughts or beliefs that you or others find strange - Race-related identity, culture, and intersectionality - Cultural and systemic trauma and oppression
