Grit & Grace is more than just a name but a way of life. These words are obviously opposites but can also be interconnected and complementary to each other. In order for therapy to be successful, we need the strength to recognize what is no longer serving us, the balance of being aware of our emotions enough to manage them in a way that is gentle, honest, and wise, and we need to honor our past and present in order to move into the future with grace.

Hi! I’m Kimberly Carlin, LPC, and I work with women over 18 who want support navigating the ups and downs of life. Between work, relationships, family responsibilities, and personal growth, it’s normal to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to cope. I help women work through: * Anxiety, stress, and burnout * Relationship challenges and setting boundaries * Trauma or emotional abuse * Grief or major life transitions * Body image and disordered eating * Pressure to be “perfect” or meet high expectations * Life transitions such as parenting, career changes, or caregiving responsibilities Here’s what therapy with me looks like: CBT: Helps you spot unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier ones. ACT: Teaches you to accept feelings and focus on what matters most. Somatic Therapy: Uses your body to release stored stress, tension, and anxiety. IFS (Internal Family Systems): Helps you explore different parts of yourself and understand conflicting thoughts, emotions, or behaviors. Inner Child Work: Helps you understand how past experiences shape your feelings today. EMDR: A specialized approach that helps painful memories feel less overwhelming. Christian Counseling and Prayer (optional): For women who desire, therapy can integrate Biblical principles, prayer, and exploring God’s perspective of who you are to guide healing, self-worth, and decision-making. I provide online therapy and am licensed in multiple states, so you can continue care even if you travel, work remotely or move. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, gain clarity, and build tools to navigate life with more confidence, self-compassion, and faith-based guidance if desired. Whether you’re feeling stressed, struggling with relationships, wanting to process trauma, or navigating major life transitions, I’m here to support you. Welcome to Restoration Counseling Services. My practice specializes in the treatment of out of control sexual behaviors, sexual addiction and trauma related to sexual assault and abuse. I deeply believe in treating each individual as a person who deserves support and encouragement for change and growth. I practice a mix of CBT, EMDR and trauma informed clinical skills.
Taking the step to begin therapy is courageous, and my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel understood. I believe change is always possible because our brains are capable of growth and healing. I work with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive functioning struggles, and life transitions. My approach combines evidence-based methods like cognitive-behavioral therapy with insights from neuropsychology and psychopharmacology. I also help clients strengthen focus, resilience, and confidence through metacognitive skill development. In addition to my clinical practice, I teach psychology and counseling at the university level and have published research on learning, neuroplasticity, and the positive effects of therapy on the brain. These experiences help me bring both professional expertise and practical strategies to my work. Most importantly, therapy with me is collaborative. I’ll meet you where you are and partner with you to build a path forward that feels empowering, hopeful, and sustainable.
Our experienced team provides the highest quality care, using treatments that are backed by the latest research and sensitive to the developmental changes and transitions that children, families, and adults navigate.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re used to pushing things down, holding it together for everyone else, or telling yourself, “I should be fine by now.” Maybe part of you wants support & another part is unsure, tired, or scared to open things back up. If that’s you, it makes a lot of sense. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns like people-pleasing, constant self-doubt, overthinking, or feeling burned out. You might feel on edge all the time, replay conversations in your head, or struggle to trust yourself & your choices. Others come in carrying the weight of trauma.
Are you looking to feel happier and more energetic, and get back to enjoying your usual activities and social life? Maybe you've been feeling tense or irritable, struggling with school, socializing, or even daily routines. Together, we'll work on calming those feelings and improving how you interact with family and friends. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with communication and often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients reshape their thinking patterns, manage their emotions, and break free from harmful thought cycles. With nearly a decade of experience and a collaborative, non-judgmental approach, my goal is to empower clients to express themselves and communicate their needs effectively. Reach out and learn more.
I am a psychologist with 25+ years of experience working with clients. I see people from 18 and up for therapy and all ages for neuropsychological testing. While testing clients need to be seen in person I am offering video sessions for therapy.
Keith Casey's approach to therapy is to be empathetic and encouraging. The most gratifying part of his job is when he sees someone embrace the idea that change is possible. He is trained in exposure-response and prevention therapy for OCD. He also likes to incorporate elements of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness into his work. He specializes in anxiety, OCD, depression, and LGBTQ+ issues.
I work really well with "type A" people with anxiety - those who are pragmatic and practical and used to getting stuff done, but now are finding it harder to make decisions and get as much done as they used to. I also work well with people who are accused of being "robotic" or "without feelings." Couples have claimed to actually enjoy working with me for premarital counseling, or figuring out how to deal with their parents/siblings/friends who might not be in favor of their match. In my office I try to speak plainly and say what needs to be said - you won't feel like you need to watch your language or censor yourself in any way.
