I work with college and graduate students needing help with executive function and possible ADHD related concerns. Executive function skills help us navigate life and get things done. People use these skills to perform activities such as planning, organizing, prioritizing, paying attention to details, managing time, sustaining attention and focus, self regulate and build awareness of how they function and interact in the world. A person challenged by their executive functions can experience difficulty and stress in school, at work, in social settings and relationships and at home. If you would like to learn more about this and/or get support/assistance feel free to contact me! I would like to help!
Your feelings matter and your concerns matter- nothing is too small or insignificant to get support on in therapy. I am eager to be a source of strength and guidance for you as you navigate the challenges that come up personally and professionally, or to redirect you to a more appropriate resource as needed. I encourage you to reach out for a free consultation to discuss further.

Website: nightbloomcounseling.com Email: laura@nightbloomcounseling.com Phone: 503-583-2101 Facing difficult experiences can leave us feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and stuck. Yet these challenges often hold the potential for profound growth, transformation, and self-discovery. As a multiethnic therapist, I understand that identity can be complex and meaningful to explore, both within yourself and in your relationships. I’m passionate about supporting clients through significant life transitions such as shifts in life or relationship roles, parenthood, career changes, relocation, or closing one chapter to begin another. I also enjoy helping clients explore the impact of religion or spirituality on their past and define what they want that relationship to look like moving forward. Lastly, I find value in exploring how past experiences with caretakers, family, friends, and romantic partners influence current relationships and one's sense of self. I’m here to help you process the past, explore present opportunities, and create a future that aligns with your values and aspirations. Whether you're looking to gain tools for distressing situations or you want to better understand yourself and your relationships, I look forward to supporting you in living a life that feels meaningful and authentic.

Helping Young Adults Feel Safe, Seen, and Understood You may be here because something just doesn’t feel right. Maybe your child is behaving in ways you don’t fully understand—or withdrawing in ways that concern you. Maybe your teen is struggling with anxiety, school pressure, or big emotions that feel too heavy for their age. Or maybe you’re a young adult trying to make sense of everything you’ve been through while figuring out who you are and where you’re headed. If any of that sounds familiar, I want you to know: it’s okay to ask for support, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Are there old patterns stuck on repeat in your relationship that you’ve tried to change but can’t seem to? Is relationship stress or anxiety in general getting in the way of your feeling satisfied or in flow with your life? Maybe you feel invisible or unappreciated. Perhaps you feel a sense of powerlessness or frustration due to your boundaries being overstepped. You may have even stopped trying due to repeated failures trying to "fix" what isn't working. The truth is every now and then we need support from someone who has the knowledge, training, and personal experience to help you with something like this. I help clients heal and learn from old relationship wounds and improve their relationship with themselves and others. I help people get to the heart of the matter and go beyond learning and implementing coping skills. In this way we can get to know what is creating barriers to joy, calm, and flow in your relationships and in your life. Please note that addition to qualifications listed within this profile, I am a certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. Whether working through anxiety, contemplating/preparing for a breakup or moving on from a relationship, healing from the fallout of antagonistic relational stress and/or narcissistic abuse, strengthening your boundaries, or you're just wanting to give that critical inner voice the boot so that you simply feel better about you, I'm here to help. * I am contracted with Care Oregon and am able to work with Trillium Community Health of OHP via single case agreement.
Making Sense of Your Experiences Over nearly three decades of working with clients, I've come to appreciate how resilient people really are. I've learned that meaningful change often begins when we better understand what has shaped the way we think, feel and behave. Therapy can offer a place to make sense of those influences, recognize patterns that may no longer be working and develop new ways of approaching life that feel more effective and sustainable. Many of the clients I work with are gaining a deeper understanding of how early relationships and experiences continue to affect the way they see themselves, relate to others and respond to challenges in the present. Some have spent years feeling on edge, different, misunderstood or unsure of themselves. Others find that the ways they have learned to cope or connect with others are no longer serving them well, leaving them feeling disconnected, stuck or unsure of what comes next. Therapy can help create greater clarity around these experiences and what you'd like to be different going forward. Understanding How You’re Wired A significant focus of my practice is working with adults with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, including those diagnosed later in life. For many, discovering they have ADHD in adulthood brings both relief and grief, as years of experiences begin to make sense through a different lens. With that understanding, many begin to see their past experiences, struggles and strengths in a new light. Together, we can explore what helps you function at your best, build on your strengths, quiet self-doubt and help you feel more at ease and confident in yourself. How I Approach Therapy I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual. No two people bring the same history, strengths, needs or way of seeing the world. My approach is warm, collaborative and practical, with plenty of room for curiosity, reflection and real-life problem solving. We’ll work together in a way that feels intentional, useful and genuinely suited to you. No matter what brings you here, my hope is that therapy helps you understand yourself with greater clarity, self-compassion and confidence.
