PSYCHē is a private network of therapists across multiple states. Our job is to pair our clients with great clinicians all over the country. Let us do the work for you. Whether it’s individual therapy, couples therapy, adolescent, or family therapy, we've got you covered. Need Telehealth? Most of our therapists see people online, so that's no problem. We also offer Standard DBT and Radically Open DBT skills groups online on multiple days throughout the week ranging from $100-$125. New members can begin right away! Visit www.psychepllc.com/groups for more information about groups, meeting times, or to enroll online. All of our services are out-of-network, but we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. It's time to stop sitting on waitlists and settling for less than what you deserve. When you're our client, you're taken care of. Period.
Hello! It's wonderful that you've taken this first step toward change and I hope that I can help make that process a bit easier. I'm a psychotherapist with over ten years of experience helping individuals create change. I believe that effective therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Therefore, I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to each person's unique needs and circumstances. I prioritize a collaborative approach, working closely with my clients to create a safe and supportive space where we can explore their challenges, identify their goals, and develop strategies for positive change. I'm passionate about empowering my patients to achieve their desired outcomes and live fulfilling lives.
I believe a therapist's job is to help people get "unstuck." All behavior serves a purpose. Even the most painful or confusing patterns often began as ways to cope with overwhelming circumstances. In therapy, we'll explore these parts of yourself and work to deepen self-awareness. Over time, you will come to recognize that while your emotional responses once made perfect sense, they may no longer serve you in the same way. Therapy is not about erasing or lingering in the past, but about making meaning from it. At the heart of my work is a belief in the healing power of feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. Together, we’ll turn inward with curiosity and compassion so you can move through the world with greater clarity, coherence, and connection.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. As a therapist, I can help you learn to cope with the difficult situations life throws at you. I specialize in life transitions, trauma, and grief, and my practice is located in Smithtown, New York. I can't wait to meet you.

Do you feel stuck in an exhausting cycle of trying to feel more in control of your life? Maybe you are tired of feeling like the friend who gives more than you get back. Or maybe you are constantly chasing perfection and still finding new flaws to criticize. These patterns can take a toll and often show up as anxiety, disordered eating, low mood, or feeling disconnected from yourself. If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone, and there is a way forward. I’m Nicole, a therapist with training in both mental health and nutrition. I take a holistic and practical approach that helps students understand what fuels these patterns and build the tools needed to break them. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing to help you work toward self-acceptance, balance, and a life that feels less overwhelming. In our work together, you can expect a safe, supportive space where you can be honest without fear of judgment. You do not have to be “all in” right away. I meet you exactly where you are and help you take steps that feel doable and meaningful. If you want to feel more grounded, more confident, and more at peace in your body and your life, I am here to help you get there. Recovery is possible, and you do not have to take the journey alone.

My name is David Petti, LCSW, and I am a graduate of the New York University Silver School of Social Work. In our first sessions, you can expect to build a strong therapeutic relationship with me while identifying your concerns and goals. We’ll work together to create a personalized plan that focuses on what matters most to you. I specialize in working with clients with schizophrenia. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through Journey Clinical ONLY and not as an individual therapist. Please search for them online and identify if Journey Clinical accepts your insurance within New York State. My practice draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, with a focus on helping you develop a sense of safety and control, as well as effective coping skills. I am passionate about this work because I believe in the power of therapy to foster healing, growth, and positive change—even in life’s most difficult moments.
I want to begin by applauding your initiative in seeking counseling services. Acknowledging the need for help and reaching out is a commendable and courageous step. It demonstrates self-awareness and a willingness to prioritize your well-being. Living with OCD or anxiety can be exhausting. The constant doubt, intrusive thoughts, avoidance and compulsions can make everyday life feel overwhelming— like it's running your life instead of you. I specialize in helping adults break free from OCD, perfectionism, and anxiety disorders. I understand how isolating these struggles can feel, and I provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel understood while learning practical tools to understand anxiety and move toward what truly matters to you. If you're struggling with OCD, we’ll use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. Together we'll build a concrete treatment plan, and with steady support, you’ll gradually face fears, and reduce compulsions, building confidence and learning that you can handle uncertainty without relying on rituals. To address anxiety and perfectionism, I integrate CBT and ACT techniques, so you can develop a healthier mindset and respond to difficult thoughts with more flexibility and self-compassion. Therapy is active and goal-oriented, but always grounded in warmth and respect. I’d love to support you in this process.
Hi! I am Dr. Amy and I love working with college students, whether as a professor or as a counselor. I understand the types of stress that college students have to navigate and how overwhelming it can feel. Together you and I will break things down into smaller pieces and look at your thoughts and feelings against the background of possible diagnoses. Sometimes having a name for what we are struggling with can be very helpful. I specialize in ADHD, disordered eating, substance misuse, relationship issues, and anxiety/depression. I have been teaching and working with college students for many, many years—primarily teaching attachment and developmental psychology—so psycho-education is a big part of what we will do together. Please feel free to reach out to me to see if we are a good fit.
