I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and Vermont with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University. I completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowships at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and I have experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns such as mood and anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and sleep problems. I work with adults of all ages adjusting to different life transitions from navigating mental health as a college student to improving executive functioning in school settings and daily life. I specialize in teaching clients coping skills from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I invite you to take the next step and give me a call. We can have a short, complimentary conversation about what you're looking for to help us determine if we may be a good fit to work together.

I use a relational, psychodynamic, and CBT-informed approach that helps clients understand patterns, build insight, and create meaningful change. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in navigating anxiety, mood concerns, life transitions, family dynamics, and relationship challenges. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel understood, challenged, and supported. I am an MHC-LP with clinical experience in private practice, inpatient, and hospital settings. I earned my M.Ed. and M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Columbia University, as well as a B.S. in Cognitive Psychology from Vanderbilt University. My training has helped me develop a thoughtful, adaptable, and clinically grounded foundation.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that aren't serving you, or disconnected from yourself or the people around you, you're not alone. Many of the patients I work with are searching for relief, clarity, and a greater sense of control. They want to feel more confident in their decisions, more at peace in their bodies and minds, and better equipped to handle daily stressors without becoming emotionally flooded. Some are also looking to rebuild self-trust and develop a healthier relationship with food, their body, and the people in their lives. As a Mental Health Counselor-Limited Permit (MHC-LP), my work centers on helping adolescents and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, disordered eating, and the challenges that come with major life transitions. That said, people at all stages of life are welcome here. My goal is to support you in creating lasting, meaningful change by helping you understand your patterns, build practical coping tools, and move toward a life that feels more stable and aligned with your values. Compassionate, authentic, and collaborative care is at the heart of everything I do. Creating a space where you feel genuinely supported and understood isn't just a goal; it's a commitment I bring to every session. We'll work together in an environment that is grounded and nonjudgmental, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrative, person-centered approaches to help you reduce anxiety, manage OCD patterns, and reconnect with a greater sense of balance in both mind and body. I'm especially passionate about the connection between mental and physical well-being, and supporting you in finding more freedom from anxious thinking, compulsive patterns, and self-criticism. Every aspect of our work is tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals, because there's no single path forward that works for everyone. My path to becoming a therapist began in pediatric oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where I supported children and families through cancer treatment. This experience shaped my passion for providing compassionate, steady care in moments of distress. I later worked in a school setting providing crisis intervention for children and young adults with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Over the past two years, I have worked in eating disorder treatment, supporting adolescents and young adults in building a more supportive relationship with food, body image, and emotional wellbeing. I also have experience providing trauma-focused care, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), to support clients in processing and healing from traumatic experiences. These experiences inform my trauma-informed, collaborative approach to care. I aim to help clients feel grounded, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change. When I'm not in session, I'm usually moving my body for enjoyment, catching a movie, or exploring a new coffee spot. Music is a big part of my life, whether that's listening at home or going to live concerts. Traveling, discovering new places, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at the beach are some of my favorite ways to recharge.

I have years of experience in providing therapy in mental health settings and in private practice. I am known for my ability to connect with my clients in a caring, real, and honest way and I particularly enjoy working with college age students. I have had particular success in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse/addiction, and most mental health issues that may impede one's ability to achieve their potential. I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in working with adolescents and young adults (ages 13 and older) across various biological, psychological, and social backgrounds. My goal is to help you understand yourself within the context of your unique life experiences as you navigate mental health struggles. These may include emotional/behavioral dysregulation, communication challenges, life transitions, academic/work stress, grief/bereavement, LGBTQAI+ issues, harm reduction in substance use, and other day-to-day life stressors. The therapeutic alliance between therapist and patient is the most important part of therapy, and I am passionate about building that foundation of trust with you. Working together, you can expect an empowering, non-judgmental environment with a little sense of humor sprinkled in. I use a warm, welcoming, and person-centered approach to meet you where you’re at in your healing journey, allowing me to tailor my style and interventions to your therapeutic goals and needs. These interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and more structured approaches to best help you meet your therapeutic goals. My path to becoming a therapist began one week into college, when I decided to switch my major from studio art to psychology. The motivation to make this drastic change and give psychology a try came from my own intuition and feeling like I had natural qualities of empathy and introspection. This journey of self-discovery deepened my commitment to helping patients identify what a life worth living and feeling of purpose looks like for them. My journey led me to work in a community agency as a therapist, where I found that my patients’ demographics were very different from one another and, as such, deserved their own unique approaches and integrated mix of interventions. Now, I am passionate about bringing that same energy to my practice at SOL Mental Health! Outside of sessions, I like to enjoy a wide range of hobbies, such as painting, hiking, playing the ukulele, and going to live music concerts.

I get that college can be a big life transition and overwhelming at times. I specialize in anxiety and stress and help students who feel stuck in worry, overthinking, panic, or burnout. I can also help with the challenge of new relationships in college and managing old ones as well. I use and teach practical and energetic tools for nervous system regulation so you're not just talking about your stress - you're learning how to manage it in real time. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. College is also a time when questions about sexual orientation and gender identity often become more present. I offer an affirming, supportive space to explore whatever is coming up for you - at your own pace. You don't have to navigate transition alone.
