I am a solution-focused therapist who meets clients where they are at with compassion, but also help to build strategies on how to cope with life. I incorporate a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help adolescents and young adults find healthy ways to work through stressors.
Are you a young adult who struggles to maintain friendships or succeed at work or school? I specialize in the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults who experience anxiety, social difficulties, behavioral issues, ADHD, or low self-esteem. Specifically, I have expertise working with neurodivergent clients. I enjoy helping clients experience greater success at school, home, work, or with peers--ultimately reducing anxiety and improving self-esteem. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, behavioral strategies, and a strengths-based approach. My focus is on creating a strong, foundational relationship with clients. I value client feedback, and respect the unique needs and strengths of each person I work with. My goal is to encourage and empower individuals to reach their greatest potential.

Are you looking for a neutral person to lend an open ear? A box of tissues? A high-five? Or some sound advice? Therapy can provide you all of those things and lead to a transformation in your life. I have seen it first hand in my work with individuals and families. They initially feel very overwhelmed and hopeless. When everything feels like too much, therapy shouldn’t add to the pressure. I'm a liberatory therapist working with kids and adults facing life transitions and overwhelm. I don’t believe in forcing people to fit systems that weren’t built for them. Instead, I center you—your needs, your truth, and your pace. Using humanistic and cognitive approaches, I offer a grounded space where we can explore what’s hard, celebrate your strengths, and move toward a more authentic sense of self. With compassion, humor, and curiosity, we’ll challenge the stories that are holding you back—and build new ones that feel like yours.

It makes use of standardized tests to measure mental abilities including attention, concentration, memory and learning, language, visual-spatial abilities, organization, planning, problem solving, and executive functioning. The pattern of cognitive strengths and weaknesses can be diagnostic and often correlates with specific regions of the brain. Neuropsychological evaluation can help clarify the effects of the disorder on cognitive functioning and is helpful in developing specific recommendations for treatment and rehabilitation.

Everyone, at least once in their life, finds themselves struggling with life events that feel insurmountable or with emotions that feel outside of their control. I believe that therapy can help with that and bring out your own resilience and capacity to learn. My guiding principle is to provide an open and accepting environment where people can explore their personal experiences and reinforce their well-being. I view therapy as a collaborative process and use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to emphasize mindfulness and self-awareness. Working together, we can identify barriers to success, maladaptive responses and strategies to help you find the change you're looking for. I enjoy working with a diverse and multicultural population of clientele. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
