I have been practicing as a clinical and school psychologist for 30 years. I am a thoughtful, warm professional with a good sense of humor. My approach is solution-focused and I integrate various treatment modalities, tailoring my approach to meet the individual needs of my clients. I most enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and obesity/overweight, and a wide range of adjustment disorders. I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ clients.
I work with LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergence, people with trauma histories, depression, anxiety, grief, and difficult family dynamics in individual therapy. I am available virtually and accept many health insurance plans. I always reply to every inquiry and offer free consultations to see if we are a good match and to answer any questions you may have. My style is relational, somatically focused, and rooted in liberation psychology. We might talk about how you are feeling, situations that you've felt that way before, and start to identify patterns of beliefs, reactions, coping strategies. I aim to understand you inside of your context and approach what's going on with you compassionately. If this sounds like something that might be supportive, don't hesitate to reach out.

College is a challenge, on its own, in many ways. It can cause significant stress as well as trigger new or exacerbate existing mental health symptoms. Having space to work through the stress or symptoms you are experiencing can be incredibly beneficial (e.g. reduced stress, increased happiness, decrease in symptoms and/or severity, etc.), which can contribute to greater success and a greater overall experience during these years. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and confidential therapy space that respects all identities and backgrounds where people can feel free to be their most authentic selves. I strive for people to feel comfortable in letting go of filters that tend to restrict them in honest disclosure and deep processing of their experiences. Thank you for taking the time to read about the practice and considering Sage Serenity Counseling. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to get started. I am ready to support you whenever you are ready!
The desire to know and to be known is a normal human experience. I value the trauma-informed safety and client-centered connection we collaboratively create through a systematic lens. I am particularly sensitive to diversity in culture and self-identity, including with respect to race, gender and sexuality. I believe the importance of affirming the unique individual experience with cultural humility. Through compassion, sensitivity, and empowerment, we will work together respectfully to acknowledge vulnerability, unearth patterns, attend complexity, and gain ownership change to achieve the most authentic and expansive self. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, life transition challenges, self-esteem, relationship issues including intimate partner violence, and immigration matter. I approach this work holistically with warmth, empathy, and ever developing curiosity. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first step towards change. It takes intentions to create the time and space to understand and explore ways to navigate the situation we are in. If you would like to explore what that looks like, I am here to support and empower you.

I'm happy that you are here. I am a LMHC licensed in MA and NH. l specialize in treating those dealing with addiction, transitions, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. I am certified in treatment for ARFID The most important part of therapy is the connection the therapist has with their client, which is something I prioritize. There is a great power in having someone to talk to and work through life with. I am here to help you in whatever way I can, whether that means a listening ear, a safe place to cry, or working towards your goals.
I'm passionate about working with college students, especially international students, students of color, and first-generation students. These students are often interested in exploring their identities and navigating life transitions. They may also be looking for support with academic stress and how to live according to their values. I have previous experience working in a college counseling setting, and I'm eager to connect with students who are seeking support. I am psychodynamically trained and have focused much of my learning and clinical practice within a social justice framework. Before moving to the US, I lived and studied in China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. You’re eager to come home to yourself, and grow roots there - no matter what life throws your way. Life can be both messy and beautiful, and sometimes in the drama we lose connection with the inner wisdom that helps us navigate the changing seasons. We might feel far from ourselves, longing for confidence, peace, and contentment. This is your invitation to rediscover yourself—to cultivate the joy, creativity, and inner wisdom that may have felt out of reach. Together, we’ll create a space that feels alive, compassionate, and safe for your whole self to unfold. I integrate expressive arts therapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and attachment-based approaches to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and your innate creative spark. Through movement, art, reflection, and presence, we’ll explore what it means to trust yourself again—to feel more grounded, open, and authentically you. I work with people who want to feel more rooted and confident in themselves—whether you're discovering who you are in new ways or moving through an important life change. Many of the folks I support are navigating transitions like entering young adulthood/quarterlife, shifting in midlife, or facing the complexities of major illness, grief, and end-of-life caregiving. I also walk with people exploring post-traumatic growth, reconnecting with creativity, or seeking a whole-person approach to wellbeing. Often, I simply meet people in that tender place of feeling tired and ready for something new. My style is collaborative, warm, and curious. I believe healing can include laughter, play, and moments of wonder alongside deep, authentic emotional work. As you strengthen self-compassion and your capacity for joy, you can begin to experience greater ease in your relationships and a more vibrant connection with life itself.
