Welcome! I believe that a meaningful therapeutic relationship begins with trust and a genuine connection between client and therapist. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to work through challenges at a pace that feels right for you. In my practice, I specialize in working with college and graduate students, as well as with women’s issues, helping individuals navigate the unique stressors and transitions they face. Whether you’re dealing with academic pressures, relationship concerns, or the complexities of identity and personal growth, I offer a collaborative and integrative approach tailored to your individual needs. My work is informed by relational, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions, academic and career stress, relationship concerns, family conflict, and self-esteem. If you’re considering therapy, I encourage you to reach out— I’d love to support you as you navigate this chapter of your life.

Hi, I’m Naomi, a licensed mental health clinician providing virtual therapy for college students across Massachusetts. College can be an exciting time, but it can also bring pressure, uncertainty, and challenges that are difficult to manage alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, or simply not like yourself, therapy can offer a space to pause, feel understood, and find your footing again. I provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing while developing practical tools for navigating college and everyday life. I work with students experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, self-esteem concerns, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and expressive approaches. Together, we’ll work toward greater self-awareness, emotional balance, confidence, and coping skills that feel realistic for you. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just have to be willing to take the first step.

Hi there! I'm Heather, a proud Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice as a prescriber since 2023, and worked in the mental health field in various settings for more than a decade prior as an RN. I work across the lifespan and with a variety of conditions. (Please note that at this time I am not prescribing controlled substances.) I believe in shared decision making and a person-centered approach to care; we're a team! I have a kind but direct approach to discussions and am solution-focused. I believe that medications are a tool, not a fix, so we will talk about a variety of interventions to support your wellness. You can expect that I will ask about your goals for care, and life, and that we will work together to meet those goals. I will sometimes assign "homework" to continue interventions outside of sessions in addition to any medication changes we may decide to make.

My clients are aware that something is not working and are motivated for change, even if they're not sure where exactly that change starts. My clients are often very conscious of the systemic stressors that make their lives more difficult, and come to me looking for support as they navigate challenges and imagine their futures. I specialize in identity exploration, trauma-focused practice, and LGBTQIA+ mental health. I use a blend of talk therapy and drama therapy to engage my clients in reflection on their present challenges from an embodied perspective, and provide a fuller understanding of how their past shows up in their present. I bring myself into my work, and hope to challenge the old idea that therapists inherently know more than their clients. You are the expert of your own life, and I would feel honored to be invited into your world. If you are interested in learning more about how I could support you, please be in touch.

My work is relationally based, and I additionally integrate the approaches of Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which are both mind/body modalities. These approaches have been transformational for myself and many clients I have witnessed because they offer an orientation of radical openness and compassionate inquiry about all parts of your experience.

My practice specialization is focused on women’s issues and perinatal mental health. In response to the recent changes in access to women's reproductive healthcare, many of us are feeling confused, scared, (and p*ssed off!). I provide a safe space for women to process whatever emotions they may be feeling as a result of their direct experiences or related to future concerns. I believe that the relationship between clinician & client is the foundation for a successful therapy experience. Please know that I realize how difficult it is to connect with a “stranger” when you are feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable. Therapy can be challenging, but it can also be very enlightening. It can also be light-hearted & fun. (I guarantee a few laughs during each session!) I utilize a variety of therapy techniques, which ultimately allows for flexibility in making sure that you get what you need in a way that works for you.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with over 28 years of experience, providing individual and couples therapy to an adult multicultural population. I have specialized training in trauma, women's issues, ACOA recovery and couples counseling. My current work incorporates Internal Family Systems and other mind-body approaches, as well as MBCT and solution-focused therapy. In addition, I work with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), providing college students and professionals with evaluations and short-term treatment focused on interpersonal conflicts, work/life balance, academic and work performance problems, stress management and career coaching. Prior to my clinical career, I worked as a writer/editor and publicist in higher education and health care within non-profit and for-profit sectors. I also am a creative writer and musician. This background, combined with my training in meditation and visualization, helps me to work with clients interested in overcoming writer's block, performance anxiety and other obstacles to creating and learning.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in anxiety, dissatisfaction, or stress. Over time, I’ve seen people make meaningful change, regain confidence, and feel more present. I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and relationship issues with over 1,500 hours of experience working with youths and adults. We will work together to make sense of what you carry, identify what gets in the way, and move toward the life you want. The treatment I provide is influenced by relational, attachment-based, and psychodynamic modalities. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity concerns, trauma, and stress related to work and relationships. I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds to address their presenting symptoms, as well as explore the underlying roots of these symptoms to establish long-term benefits. I believe therapy is most effective when there is a trusting and open therapeutic relationship, so we will work together to identify a meaningful approach to your care. I’m experienced in working with culturally diverse and LGBTQ populations. Prior to earning my degree in counseling, I worked with LGBTQ youth and young adults in the Boston community at a nonprofit organization dedicated to health education. I understand how difficult it can be to find a good match in therapy, I encourage you to contact me for an initial phone call, and we can discuss how we might work together.

The students I connect with most are curious about themselves and want to understand not just what they feel, but why. Many seem capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside — struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, friendship or dating struggles, or a harsh inner critic. Some notice the same patterns repeating or feel unsure of who they are and what they want. If you’re ready to look a little deeper, we’ll likely be a good fit. I offer a steady, supportive space to explore the inner stuff you’ve been carrying around. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor to our work, helping therapy feel human, relatable, and sometimes even a little fun. I use talk therapy as our foundation, and when it’s a good fit, I may also bring in EMDR, a well-researched approach that helps your brain process difficult experiences — whether from the past or present — so they feel less intense and less triggering. I also draw from practical skills, mindfulness, and self-exploration tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control — ready to move through college with greater clarity, self-trust, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.

A client centered approach to therapy starts with ensuring the client and therapist have a strong therapeutic relationship. Not all clients and therapist will be a good match. I work to fully understand my clients lived experience so that I can work with you to achieve your therapeutic goals. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I may use a variety of evidence based approaches to achieve results.

People come to see me when they feel stuck and have had enough. I help parents help their children; help couples and families get closer and happier; and in general help people successfully resolve issues such as: stress, anxiety, adjustment to new life circumstances (relocation, family changes), relationship issues (divorce, extra-marital affairs, conflict), and dealing with difficult family members. I work with individuals and families dealing with medical conditions that can be affected by stress (Gastrointestinal issues, pain, sleep disturbances). I also work with people interested in specific skill building such as: stress/anxiety management, assertiveness and dealing with conflict, communication, and more.
