Seeking mental health care can be difficult and daunting for some individuals, as well as finding the right therapist. My initial goal when meeting with new clients is to create a comfortable environment to get to know you better. My focus throughout therapy is to facilitate positive change, identify patterns that get in your way, and help you build a life worth living. Part of that process invites you to acknowledge your inner strengths and autonomy, while challenging yourself in new ways, even if it's hard. I truly love this work and feel extremely fortunate to be able to do it. I'm happy to meet you over the phone or Zoom for an initial introduction before scheduling an appointment. Feel free to email me, and we'll go from there. I look forward to potentially working with you!
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over fifteen years of working with individuals, groups, and families. I have extensive experience with relationship issues, parenting, anxiety, stress management, adjustment, grief or loss, and trauma. I recognize that reaching out to begin this journey is a brave and important step. I am aware of the privilege it is to accompany you.

The client I do best with is the good kid in the family that never causes waves or the quiet kid in the classroom that is a great team member but never makes a fuss. I work best with the silent suffering - those who look just fine on paper and are out and about in their personal life. These are those folks who are too nice, always making excuses for bad behaviors in relationships and ultimately ending up feeling invisible and unloved. I do well helping these types realize their value and helping them assert themselves. I typically work with people who may not have a full blown addiction but might be suffering by drinking too much or keeping an eating disorder in secret. They are getting their pain out in unhealthy ways.
At Dear Therapy®, we believe you are worthy of being fully seen, deeply heard, and gently supported, especially if you have ever felt invisible in traditional spaces. Rooted in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally-responsive approach, our work honors the full complexity of your lived experience. As BIPOC and AAPI mental health clinicians, we understand the quiet weight of navigating multiple identities, languages, and generations. Whether you're navigating family expectations, healing generational wounds, or learning how to come home to yourself, we offer online therapy that walks with you, wherever you are in Massachusetts.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist. One of my areas of emphasis is counseling undergraduate and graduate students who are navigating the complexities of college life and balancing the demands that often accompany this time. It is common for these years to bring discovery and connection as well as stress, pressure and anxiety. In collaboration, we can work through what is challenging or making you feel stuck or avoidant. We can address mental health concerns that may be disrupting your path. We will look at your day-to-day functioning as well as the bigger picture of your life. I will support you in taking meaningful steps towards your goals. I have extensive specialized experience treating OCD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and BFRBs. While in training, I also completed an internship at a college counseling center where I had the wonderful opportunity to counsel students entering healthcare professions. It can be helpful for potential clients to know ahead of time that I am "in- network" with Boston University Aetna Student Health specifically. If you have this insurance, your visits are covered and you are only responsible for your copay. In all other cases, I am "out-of network." I am happy to offer a superbill invoice you can submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement, if you have out-of-network benefits and are eligible for reimbursement. If you aren't sure whether you do, you can call the phone number on your insurance card to ask. I am licensed in MA and CT. I am with the group practice, Soultality Center for Psychotherapy. I look forward to getting to know you!
