Shoreline Wellness Center and Behavioral Health Clinic
Shoreline Wellness Center places a focus on talk therapy (psychotherapy) to help patients better manage the stress they encounter in their daily life. Working with a therapist has many benefits, such as coping with feelings, facing and solving problems, or changing behavioral patterns that are leading to some of your symptoms. In therapy, we don’t just talk about problems. The main goal is to develop a reasonable and doable solution. Sometimes you may have “homework” to complete for your therapist. This may include something like tracking your moods throughout the day, journaling about your thoughts, going out of your way to be social, or joining in activities that caused you to feel anxious in the past. Your therapist may even suggest for you to try to look at things differently or to learn new skills to use in your everyday life. Therapy focuses on current and past thoughts, feelings, and issues. Both are important, as they may very well be connected in some way. Discussing your challenges and having an open dialogue is the key to finding the solution to help your present and prepare for your future.

Hi, my practice is here to support those struggling with disordered eating, body image issues, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. Most of my clients come to me due to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, and have a feeling of just surviving. I utilize a variety of different modalities based on the individuals needs. I often will encourage clients to process feelings from the inside out this allows for a deeper connection to your authentic self and sets you up to have your needs met. Some practices I may use are mindfulness, breathing practices, brainspotting, and guided somatic practices.

Victoria Callahan
I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist providing virtual therapy, bringing over fifteen years of experience in diverse settings, including outpatient care (both in-person and virtual), middle schools, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential programs, Section 35 commitment facilities, and emergency psychiatric assessments in various environments. I have had the privilege of counseling individuals across the gender spectrum—from ages ten to eighty—addressing a wide range of concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, adjustment disorders, substance use, co-occurring disorders, interpersonal difficulties, and psychotic disorders. My approach to therapy is collaborative and interactive, grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing. While I bring extensive training and experience in a variety of evidence-based treatment models, I recognize that true progress comes from a strong and trusting connection between therapist and client. Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, I strive to help my clients deepen their self-awareness, cultivate positive self-regard, and develop a sense of balance within themselves and their lives. I view therapy as a partnership—one in which we work together to identify and shift harmful patterns, fostering healthier ways of coping and communicating. Through this process, we explore the experiences that have shaped who you are, creating space for growth and transformation. My therapeutic style is eclectic, incorporating psychodynamic principles, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and other evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual’s needs. My clients will often give me feedback they feel genuinely cared for in our therapeutic relationship. Often, clients will report that they were able to connect with me quickly and expressed surprise that they opened up as much to me, sometimes stating “that’s the first time I’ve ever told anybody that”. Though our work can be challenging, we work at a pace you are comfortable with and I will respect your boundaries.

I enjoy working with college students, and have experience treating a wide variety of issues. These include, but are not limited to: Anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment problems, self-esteem difficulties, and family conflict. I also have a special interest and training background in PTSD and trauma-related difficulties. I am EMDR-trained. My style is warm and collaborative, and I use an individualized approach with each client. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to gain support, insight, and tools to guide you on your mental health journey. I am an ideal choice for students who go to school in Massachusetts but permanently reside in New Hampshire (or vice versa). I am licensed in both states, which means that I can meet with you when you are at school and when you are home on breaks. I am an ally and safe space to members of the LGTBQIA community, racial/ethnic minorities, and those impacted by poverty. I am aware of how systemic oppression, systems of privilege, and all forms of prejudice impact human functioning. However, I do not pretend to be an expert in these areas, and I am not personally a member of the above-mentioned communities. I welcome any questions about me or my practice.
