As a therapist rooted in a client-centered approach, I am committed to providing you with empathy, compassion, and a peaceful, supportive environment where you can safely explore your past traumas, and manage stress, anxiety, depression, and more. Together, we will work collaboratively to uncover and address underlying trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and build self-awareness. I have experience working with individuals facing a variety of mental health and substance use disorders. In our sessions, I draw upon evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, while also being able to integrate faith into our work if it aligns with your values. Healing and growth are not destinations but ongoing processes of discovery, transformation, and becoming. My role as your therapist is to walk alongside you on this lifelong journey, fostering holistic change and resilience every step of the way.

If you/your loved one is in need of a reduced fee evaluation, please let me know. If I am not able to accommodate this need, I will do my best to identify providers who may be able to do so. The evaluation process includes time spent in direct contact with individuals and/or caregivers via clinical interviews and caregiver interviews for children and adolescents, face-to-face testing, scoring and interpreting assessment data, reviewing records, completing collateral calls with providers or support persons (if/as appropriate and with a release of information), writing the evaluation report, and providing feedback. The total percentage may vary year to year based on the ebb and flow of business profits and costs associated with maintaining the practice. Middle Fee for 2024: $2100 to $2200 (Middle Fee for 2025 will be $2200 to $2300)** At this level, you are helping me run a sustainable business that promotes the highest possible quality assessment services for all individuals, including you/your loved one. Hello! My name is Rachael Trimbur and I am here with you on your treatment journey however that may look. I take a very trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. I am trained in EMDR and have been using this approach for two years. I am a licensed clinical addictions counselor and a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience working in the dual diagnosis field. I began my career working with substance use disorders and have a lot of experience in this area. I am also a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and complete substance abuse evaluations. My experience includes working for community mental health centers, doing crisis work, working in an employee assisted treatment program, and program development for a substance use and medication-assisted treatment facility. I am always looking to expand my knowledge and stay up to date on evidenced-based treatment approaches. I understand that one size does not fit all and pull from various modalities to help those I work with meet their goals. The most important thing I have learned over the years is to learn from those I work with. I take a very person-centered approach. As Stephen Covey wrote, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.”

I've always been a strong believer that your mindset and behaviors can be a significant game changer in the way things are in life. CBT and Mindfulness perspectives are what I work from most, but I also incorporate other methods that will best help you work through, gain insight and clarity in what you're seeking to improve or change. As a therapist, it's important to feel safe and comfortable to share your story. My goal and hope is that you feel as comfortable as you would going over to a friends house, sitting on their couch and having a meaningful conversation. I truly honor the therapeutic space that my clients have and to hear their stories. When you feel ready, I am here to listen
