I'm Chelsea Horn, owner and founder of Wild Haven Counseling. I’ve been practicing as a licensed mental health counselor since 2018. My passion lies in helping adults and college students navigate life transitions, develop strengths, and find meaning and purpose. I’m skilled in treating anxiety, perfectionism, imposter feelings and self-doubt, depression, binge eating, and body image issues. In the therapy room, I combine evidence-based practices with a touch of humor and humanity. I see therapy as a space where the focus is entirely on you, where you can reflect on your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and rediscover what brings you joy and fulfillment. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for real change. My style is collaborative and conversational; I offer input and perspective, but I also recognize that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll identify goals that feel meaningful to you. I often encourage clients to practice new skills outside of sessions, which helps build confidence and momentum in daily life. I also take a holistic approach to mental health, considering how emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being all connect. My philosophy centers on pursuing wholeness over perfection. Growth isn’t about getting everything right, it’s about showing up for yourself, learning along the way, and taking that first step toward change.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my site. My practice is located in Avondale at the beautiful, newly remodeled, Schoolhouse in West Ashley, SC. Numerous self care services are coincidentally offered in this same building. Outside, it harbors a gorgeous community garden, with a view from my window. No cost to park and availability has never been an issue. Seeking support for mental health is a courageous step. Whether you have participated in prior treatment, or are taking this step for the first time, I am honored to be part of your journey. I am a board-certified psychiatrist in the state of SC, as well as Indiana (completed my residency at IU). My background includes extensive training with adults, and additional specialized training in children and adolescents at MUSC. My hope is to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. Whether meeting in person at the office, by secure virtual sessions, my goal is to help each individual feel heard, understood, respected, and empowered on their path toward improved health, and overall well-being. Clients often come to us for help in the following areas: Anxiety related disorders Affective Mood Disorders, including major depression and bipolar disorder OCD and related disorders — tics, Tourette’s, body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRB) ADHD - inattentive type, hyperactive & impulsive type, and combined subtype, difficulty with organization, processing information, procrastination, lack of impulse control, forgetfulness, poor motivation, impaired focus, easily distracted, including lack of task initiation and task completion, and struggles with executive functioning (which can be detrimental, especially while driving if not therapeutically treated for ADHD). Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and similar conditions. Navigating neurodivergence, ASD, for example. I also enjoy working with substance abuse and substance dependence. My latest interests include: life transitions, pre planning for pregnancy, gestation, and postpartum timeframe, the emotional waves of hormonal fluctuations. HRT for men and women, though I’m far from an expert. I deep dive into assessing and managing the B12 and folate pathways, vitamin D, thyroid, metabolic labs, among others. My initial evaluations occur with a full history and physical exam, patient’s endorsed symptoms, (including vitals, and an MSE), past psychiatric records as well as any collateral (ie. from a partner/ family/friends/other providers/caregivers, and legal guardians) who can speak on patient’s behalf, (in office, by phone, or virtually) - with lab monitoring, vitals, scales, diagnostic assessments, and a final treatment plan based on the provider’s recommendations. Life transitions also span, preschool through 12th grade (navigating middle school), secondary education, and ongoing advanced education, career, or simply feeling stuck in an overstimulated, environment, between jobs, with endless choices, but don’t know where to start. When we get started, is always the right time - if you find we are a good fit, you feel invited and welcomed in my presence, and - most importantly - have a safe space that invites the opportunity for growth and transformation. Healing is not linear, but I’m committed to accompanying you on this journey to self reflection and self discovery. Any time is the right time, truly, as long as you show up ready to explore, to learn, to grow:) Outside of work, I enjoy salsa dancing, learning Spanish, leisure reading, comedy, Broadway shows, dabble in learning about plants, and spending time with my dog, Roo. I was a former division 1 athlete, tennis player at UMASS, but have since traded in my racquets for dance shoes and anything related to the Latin culture. Call or text now to get started! 843-801-6877. I cannot wait to meet you and embrace this process. How about you? Shall we begin… Warm Regards, Dr. Stephanie Price, DO **For any emergencies, including thoughts of harming yourself or others, seek immediate care from 24/7 mobile crisis team (access in each county), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency department.**
I have been working with the college population throughout my career and I am aware of the unique challenges students face. If you feel that you are constantly fighting an upward battle, that no one understands your pain, that you don't know how to get out of "the pit," I am here for you. As an international psychologist trained in counseling and sport psychology, I am especially passionate about working with students of minority identities and student athletes. I also love working with couples regarding all kinds of relationship concerns. I enjoy laughing with my students in therapy, sometimes crying too, and that's okay.
Navigating the college years is amazing and low key terrifying at times. Things happen when we get out on our own. We don't always want to turn to certain people for a variety of reasons - privacy, embarrassment, or maybe feeling like you should know how to handle it and you are realizing you need some guidance. Money issues, social dynamics, romantic interactions, or becoming independent from our family of origin, are all things that can really kick us in the teeth when we strike out on our own. It's normal to become overwhelmed by the emotions and awareness. Issues from our past might catch up to us as well. That's shocking particularly if life is grand otherwise. Therapy can help get a grip on emotions and create a secure foundation to evaluate self worth as well as process complicated scenarios. I hope to hear from you!
As a Notre Dame graduate, I have a unique understanding of the Notre Dame experience. As a Latino, I understand the challenges of being a minority on campus. My training includes traditional talk therapy and in the past eleven years, extensive training in working with anxiety and depression that is rooted in past trauma. I conduct sessions in Spanish if need be. I have the perspective of having grown up in an academic family. My father was a member of the Notre Dame faculty for 26 years. I know that the rigors of modern university attendance cause many students to abuse mood altering substances. I am trained in chemical dependence issues.
If you’re someone who lies awake at night replaying your entire day—going over conversations, decisions, and moments that felt harder than they “should” have—this might be for you. Many people who reach out to me say some version of, “I’ve always felt a little different. I can get things done, but it takes so much out of me. I overthink everything, I second-guess myself constantly, and I feel overwhelmed by seemingly small things” You might lose hours to indecision, get stuck in spirals of overthinking, or feel paralyzed. Often there’s a layer of self-criticism running underneath it all—wondering why it feels so much harder for you. You may relate to a lifetime of trying to keep up, mask, or push through. What once worked doesn’t anymore. Now it can look like burnout, emotional overwhelm, difficulty regulating your energy, or feeling like your nervous system is always “on.” On the outside, you may look high-functioning, capable, and like you’re managing well—but inside you’re worn out. Therapy isn’t about something being wrong. It’s about understanding how your mind works and finding support that actually fits. We can slow things down, make sense of what’s been overwhelming, and build more ease. I also offer nature-based therapy to help calm your nervous system and create space to think more clearly.

Hi there, I’m Maire Grupp, a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Indiana and Michigan. If you’re reading this, you may be looking for some backup in navigating challenges in your life. I am here to help. I work with individuals, families, and youth who are navigating grief, anxiety, life transitions, depression, and other challenges. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and able to move at your own pace in an inclusive environment suitable for all individuals, including neurodiverse individuals and those who identify across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. My goal is to provide care that is both compassionate and effective. My background includes hospice and grief counseling, crisis response, and community mental health case management. My passion for quality care started in my work as a Direct Support Professional in the group home setting, and has grown through my completion of my Master’s Degree in Social Work at IUSB. I use a variety of evidenced based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT), Complicated Grief Therapy (CGT), and creative expression, among others. My approach is eclectic and tailored to your unique needs and life experience. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, creative writing, spending time outdoors, and time with my wonderful cats. I offer evening and weekend availability, so sessions can more easily fit into your schedule and lifestyle. Whenever you’re ready, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions at maire@gabrielcounselingservices.com, or call (317) 210-3075. Take care!
I specialize in individual therapy with young adults. I use a solution-focused approach which means that we will be spending less time talking about the history of problems that may be present in your life, and more time building solutions for the present and future. I am warm, open, and friendly and I genuinely love working with people. I have a deep respect for each person's ability to bring about desired change. I will listen to your therapy goals, build a trusting relationship with you, and ultimately help you progress toward greater happiness and health. Nobody comes to therapy without having tried some other things first. So, you already know a bit about what works for you and what doesn’t. And you know what you want your life to be like. Once we can shift our focus from “problems” and “past” to “solutions” and “future," all things are possible. I invite YOU to be my teacher. Teach me about your life, your goals, what works and doesn’t work for you. Teach me about your struggles, your fears, your hopes, and your successes. I will listen and absorb what you what you tell me. I will seek to understand. I will make connections and ponder and apply that new information.
Everyone tells you that college is the best time in your life and to enjoy it because it flies by. But what people don’t tell you is all the challenges that it can bring. Maybe it’s the first time you are away from your family and friends from home. It can also bring many challenges with pressure to drink or use drugs, navigating friendships and dating in a more complicated way, and figuring out what you want to do with the rest of your life. You might be in a position where in order to afford school you need to work on top of doing well in all your classes. I know personally how challenging, yet exciting, this time can be, and I am here to tell you that you don’t need to figure it all out on your own or even right now. Are you ready to enjoy your college experience, be fully present in the great moments without feeling stresses weighing you down everyday? It’s time to feel a sense of relief, confidence in who you are, and in your decisions. Together, we can make your life feel lighter and free up space for everything else you have going on! My Approach: I am a strong believer in the power of relationships. Having someone to talk to can increase our sense of happiness and positivity, and most importantly let us know that we are not alone. Life has many ups and downs, but it's what you do with them that matters. I am here to help you transform the tough moments into growth. Therapy with me looks like an open dialogue, where we both respect each other's point of view and collaborate to find solutions that help you overcome what’s been holding you back. We can talk about anything, no matter how hard it is to share. Whether it’s the good things or the bad, I am ready to hold space for even the strongest emotions that come up, because I know we can work through it together. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy that not only looks at your thoughts and feelings, but also how your environment, your cultural experiences, close relationships, and health, affect your mental wellbeing. We’ll use a variety of therapeutic techniques to best fit what you need, because therapy is not a one size fits all approach. We’ll make sure that those techniques are really working for you. It might be practicing mindfulness or trying out different coping skills to help things feel less overwhelming. Our approach will continue to grow as our therapeutic relationship develops. I know that therapy is not always easy, but I am here to support you each step of the way and I will always accept you for how you are in that moment, even the hard ones. A Little About Me: I went into undergrad undecided and had a hard time knowing what I wanted to do. I knew that I wanted to do something to help people and I wanted a career that I would enjoy. I always felt behind in some way because I didn’t know what I wanted to do right away. I have learned that a lot of people have a unique path to get to where they are. I worked as a school social worker for 8 years before private practice and that is when I really knew I loved counseling and wanted to continue on this path. I have lived in the Chicago area for most of my life and love the city! You can find me by the lake or exploring all the city has to offer. My hobbies are all over the place and include a mixture of baking, triathlons, knitting, going on long walks and finding the best matcha. I also love traveling (but hate flying) and have an ever growing list of places I want to visit.
Hi! I am a clinical social worker with about 15 years of experience working across the lifespan and really enjoy working with young adults. I am in Lakeview/Lincoln Park above the Core Yoga building, and in network with BCBS PPO plans.
