Welcome, I'm happy you're here. You may be looking for someone to help you work through stuck patterns in your life related to the pressure to succeed, negative beliefs about yourself and others, and challenges in your relationships. Here's what I can offer you: connection, playfulness, and guidance as you embark on this journey. I have a passion for working with college students and have had the pleasure of working with adults struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, relationship issues, life transitions, depression, and self esteem challenges over the past 6 years. My approach is warm and collaborative, rooted in a client centered, psychodynamic framework while also integrating cognitive behavioral, experiential, schema, and somatic elements. We will make a lot of progress together if you are open to approaching our space with a balance of self curiosity and embracing what is new and different. Asking questions, experimenting with new things, understanding motivations, challenging narratives, celebrating wins, and exploring emotions are all of what you can expect we will do together. My aim is that you are supported with developing both the insight and tools needed for lasting change in your life. I'd love to partner with you on this journey. Book a consultation with me today. I honor your courage and willingness to take this step. You do not have to continue feeling broken, unloveable, or hopeless and you don't have to do it alone— I am ready when you are! Hi! I'm Eleanor. I love working with both queer and neurodivergent individuals, especially individuals who are just beginning to explore or understand their identities or may have doubts about if their experiences are “enough.” Many of my clients experience anxiety and struggle to trust themselves or express their needs and are ready to start exploring what is most important to them and how to build a value-aligned life. Additionally, I have a specialty in treating OCD and use a mix of exposure therapy as well as non-exposure based therapies. I am warm, collaborative, and transparent with my clients. In sessions, you can expect me to ask questions, provide education and resources, and add a little humor into the mix. My main goal when working with clients is to help them understand themselves and their patterns better and practice responding flexibly and compassionate to the difficulties that inevitably rise in life. This is often a mix of exploring past experiences and relationships to understand how this shows up in the present as well as learning new coping skills. It can be hard and scary to start therapy! If you're feeling ready, feel free to reach out to me to learn more about my style and see if we might be a good fit.

I love working with clients to both identify their strengths and to help them understand what constrains them from reaching their goals. After exploring these areas, we collaborate to create a plan for change. I am an expert on tools and possibilities but you're the expert on you and what will resonate in your life. I'll be asking for your input every step of the way! I know campus culture. I've been a therapist in a busy University Counseling Center and loved my work students and faculty. I've also been a been a professor at the graduate level. I understand that with the all the stressors daily student life being successful means having a support network in place. I'd love to see if I'd be a good fit for your support network.

I am a thoughtful, warm, seasoned therapist who combines a relational approach to counseling with sound clinical judgement. I have had the privilege to work with clients who are courageous, hardworking, introspective, and some of the most wonderful people I have met. I am inspired by my clients daily. I greatly enjoy walking alongside individuals and partnering with them as they pursue wholeness. Most frequently, I see clients facing challenges with anxiety, trauma, and spiritual concerns. I provide a safe place to explore concerns about family, racial identity, gender and sexuality. I have interest in clients who have shifting belief systems or have wounds from faith communities. I also enjoy working with those in the Helping Professions including: therapists, teachers, social workers, first responders and medical professionals. No matter your background, I would be glad to talk with you to see if we would work well together or if I know of a therapist who would be right for you. Finding a therapist can feel daunting but doesn’t have to be. My first step is a 15 minute call to explore whether we would be a good fit. Feel free to email and I would be glad to arrange a conversation.
