My specialty is working with the unconscious mind. Using dreamwork, hypnotherapy and counseling, we can explore what you are needing to bring forward into your life and what you need to clear so that you enjoy your life and thrive.
I am passionate about people! It is an honor for me to provide you with a safe, judgment free space where you have the freedom to open up- about your struggles, pain, and your triumphs, as we work together to sort through what life has thrown your way. I meet you where you are in life, and I provide integrative therapy specific to your therapeutic needs. Whatever you bring into therapy- pain, trauma, and/or the need for daily life maintenance- I am here to walk with you and discover the necessary tools needed to move through it. I am part of the Path referral network, which means that when you reach out, my team will get back to you quickly to schedule our first session. I am committed to making therapy affordable. Through Path, I am in-network for most commercial insurances, so you're only responsible for your co-pay!
Where do you go when you just want to be validated and heard without judgement? Do you have a supportive, safe space? Life can be tough when you don’t have an outlet and you are struggling with depression, self-esteem, transition or other unresolved issues that are getting in the way of your quality of life and desired goals. Expressing what is on your heart is fundamental to having a peace-filled life and can put you on a better path. As a therapist, I can help you identify your strengths within. I believe you are your own expert! Together we will explore how past experiences may be connected to current behaviors, feelings or beliefs. My personal practice of mindfulness allows me to be fully present and attuned, creating a judgement-free space that supports you. I realize it can be a difficult decision to contact a therapist, one that requires courage and readiness. You have already taken the first step by searching. It is equally important to find a therapist that is the right fit for you. Note: I specialize in CBT, DBT, Trauma-focused CBT, grief, anxiety management, and narrative therapy.
Greetings! I am a generalist trained counseling psychologist with several years of experience working with college students. This includes specialized training in working with student-athletes and teams. Older adolescents and young adults are ideal clients, though I have experience working with folks of all ages. My main areas of experience and interest include relational concerns, identity exploration, mood disorders, and trauma. In session we’ll work together with the understanding that you are the expert on yourself and my role is to support your growth. The therapeutic relationship is the vehicle for change, and I foster a trusting and brave space for self-exploration and understanding. As a counseling psychologist, I trust that clients possess internal resources to help them navigate challenging experiences. Thus, part of our work together is to nurture and develop those resources so that they can be confidently implemented. My practice features interpersonal and feminist orientations to examine relational dynamics and patterns. Through these frameworks I consider how the impact of societal systems affects clients’ identities, current experiences, world views, and the therapeutic relationship. Therapy can provide a trustworthy and reflective space to understand ourselves differently, process interpersonal dynamics, and explore the impact of systems on our individual and collective experiences.
I work primarily with clients who are struggling with issues of stress, anxiety, past childhood abuse/trauma, issues of racial identity/trauma, relationships, and women's issues (particularly single women). Additionally, I work with clients who have an interest in integrating their religious faith into their therapy.
As a South Asian woman and first-gen college graduate, I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate school, relationships, and identity while carrying cultural expectations and trauma. I specialize in helping students explore boundaries, burnout, and healing in a space that honors your story and lived experience. My approach integrates evidence-based therapy with cultural humility, compassion, and curiosity. Whether you're dealing with family pressure, anxiety, identity questions, or recovering from toxic relationships, you don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and designed to help you reclaim your voice and power. 👉🏽 For more reflections and resources: @reclaimwithmavish on Instagram

Human life is full of distractions and failures, and treatment, either psychological or physical, is likewise. We will have moments of perceived failure and distractions. That is OK…. new ways of thinking take time and practice. A trusting relationship between client and therapist is the most important factor in therapeutic success. I work hard to earn and keep your trust. I operate from a positive psychotherapy framework and provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental, safe place. I build this safe place so you can explore your concerns, learn about what is preventing you from living the life you want, or search for your preferred future. My counseling style is kind, caring, and built on relationships. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and non-judgment. Admitting to yourself that you can not do everything alone and reaching out to a professional for help are the first steps towards living your preferred future. The way in which we live is greatly influenced by how we see the world. Asking for help, and getting a new perspective is often the most profound step towards your preferred future. The more support you gain, the more able you will be to heal and grow. Therapy is an investment in yourself and is ALL ABOUT YOU. I am part of the Path referral network, which means that when you reach out, my team will get back to you quickly to schedule our first session. Through Path, I am in-network for most commercial insurances, and the average cost of a session for clients who use their insurance is less than $30.
I am excited and passionate about collaboratively working with individuals to help them live a fulfilled, happy life! I have a genuine, empathetic approach to counseling, and strive to create a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive environment for every person who walks through the door. I believe that every individual has many strengths and can overcome any obstacle. I specialize in working with adolescents, and young adults. My areas of expertise include eating disorders, body image, anxiety, depression, life transitions, children of divorce, and self-harm . I serve on the Board of International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, Atlanta Chapter, where I get extensive training in working with disordered eating, body image issues, and low self esteem.
I work with teens (13+) and young adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, low self-worth, perfectionism, or the pressure to hold it all together. They may struggle with boundaries, burnout, or feeling like they're never “enough.” Deep down, they want to feel more confident, connected, and at ease—but they’re tired of doing it alone. They’re looking for support that feels real, not clinical. I offer a down-to-earth, solution-focused approach that blends CBT, experiential techniques, and often nature-based practices. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine connection, not a script. I help clients reconnect with their strengths, build practical tools, and create meaningful change—all at a pace that feels right for them.

I see a whole host of issues in my practice, however I specialize in trauma--whether that is childhood sexual abuse, current sexual assault, chronic trauma that occurred throughout your life (i.e. neglect, chaotic upbringing, etc), or one time events (natural disaster, accidents, deaths). Trauma often leads to a host of other issues, that I also work well with in my practice. Some of the issues I see alongside trauma include anxiety and depression, life transitions, relational conflict, process addictions (such as eating disorders, sex or gaming addiction), substance abuse, or family of origin issues.
