I’m a licensed psychotherapist who works with young people to understand and disrupt unhelpful patterns, better cope with challenging situations and discover greater ease, self-acceptance and healthy expression. I am committed to serving students in all content areas to navigate pressure, the pursuit of excellence and transition to career. It is important to me that LGBTQ+ people feel safe in the therapeutic space. I often help clients navigate grief, complex trauma or anxiety and I offer unique therapeutic perspectives when supporting those processing childhood rejection, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, university stress, or careers in the arts. My clinical practice is informed and enriched by my career as a professor, director, and administrator in the performing arts. I have directed or taught theatre courses at some of the most well-regarded theatre programs in the country, including Juilliard, Yale School of Drama, and NYU TISCH School of the Arts. As a therapist, I create a space for you to bring your whole self, feel safe, respected and understood as well as learn new skills and take on new perspectives. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all therapy, instead I tailor therapy to your individual needs. I draw from cognitive-behavioral, relational, and trauma-informed strategies, while also integrating expressive arts and movement or somatic lenses when useful. And I always offer a steady and reliable presence. Clients who work with me gain a more accurate understanding of what is really going on for them, and make positive changes in their thoughts, assessments and actions, resulting in greater satisfaction and functioning in their lives. I’m honored to support you in your therapeutic journey!

College can be an exciting time of growth and discovery, but it can also bring stress, uncertainty, and questions about who you are and where you’re headed. I believe therapy should be a warm, affirming, and judgment-free space where you can be yourself, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and figure out what you need to thrive. I work with college students navigating anxiety, stress management, ADHD, relationship issues, queer and racial identity, and executive functioning. Together, we’ll build self-awareness and practical strategies that fit the way you think, learn, and live—while helping you develop healthier habits, stronger boundaries, and more meaningful connections. My approach is grounded in equity, inclusion, and cultural humility. I’m committed to understanding you within the context of your identities, experiences, culture, and relationships. Whether you’re struggling to stay organized, figuring out who you are, navigating relationships, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to help you better understand yourself and build the skills and confidence to create a life that feels like your own. Reach out for a Free 15-minute Video Consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

I offer a nonjudgmental space to explore your inner world and build relationship with all parts of yourself. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief, shame, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. I also enjoy supporting adult children of emotionally immature parents, college students, and highly sensitive people. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel deeply seen, understood, and accepted—and where you can gradually find your way back to yourself. My approach integrates compassionate talk therapy, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (parts work/inner child work) EMDR, psychoeducation, and practical coping and resourcing skills. I specialize in anxiety and trauma and tailor therapy to each client's unique needs. Together, we'll work to better understand your nervous system, process painful experiences, and cultivate a more secure, compassionate relationship with yourself. Clients often describe my style as warm, gentle, and deeply validating. It is a genuine privilege to accompany people in this work. If you have questions or would like to schedule a consultation, I'd love to hear from you.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker and Clinical Candidate with more than a decade of experience, I offer adolescents and adults a warm, safe space where patients feel truly seen and supported. I specialize in trauma and mood disorders, helping individuals develop coping skills and understand how their mind and body respond to stress and life transitions. My approach is grounded in building a collaborative, compassionate, and authentic relationship where you are empowered to regulate, heal from anxiety, depression, and trauma, and move toward a more balanced and peaceful way of living. I deeply believe that no one has to navigate their pain alone and that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal. I believe in practicing radical empathy and acceptance, which helps me be a therapist who believes in hope and healing – because I have experienced it. Working together, you are assured a welcoming and judgement-free environment that incorporates a strengths-based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and polyvagal-informed techniques to help you understand your reactions, reduce stress, and feel more balanced. My style is supportive and authentic, with a touch of humor when appropriate, and adapted to your hopes and goals. I look forward to being part of your mental health journey to help build resilience, regulate the mind and body, and cultivate a more peaceful, balanced life. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own mental health journey in my 20s. Having survived a traumatic upbringing, I knew I needed serious healing in order to build the life I wanted for myself. This personal experience in overcoming obstacles raised by trauma deepened my commitment to pursuing a career in mental health, and fueled my commitment to providing a holistic and deeply empathic approach to helping others heal. That’s why, in my practice now, I bring a humble and nonjudgmental perspective to each session, knowing that we all need help on our life journeys. When I’m not in the office, I love taking photos in nature, hiking, skiing, attending live music concerts (especially at outdoor venues), traveling, and learning about plants and animals. I’m also a big fan of mental health and wellness podcasts as well as card and board games (Catan is super fun, even if I don't often win!).

You may feel like you’re falling short of where you think you “should” be, moving through life on autopilot. Some days emotions feel overwhelming; other days you may feel numb or disconnected from yourself and your body. Life, like the ocean, moves in waves—some gentle, others surging. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as identity concerns, emotional regulation, and feeling disconnected or unsure of themselves. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. I understand the hesitation, so I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, family dynamics, intimate partner violence, and feelings of isolation or disconnection. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin—just a willingness to show up as you are. Therapy doesn’t require the right words or a clear plan; it begins with having a place where your experiences can be shared openly, without judgment or pressure.

Figuring out who you are and what you want while in college is such a powerful but stressful time. Not to mention trying to navigate friendships, family, your own mental health, and possibly figuring out other identity pieces, too (such as sexuality, gender identity, or possible neurodivergence). I get how confusing and big things can feel and I would absolutely love to dive into all of the things that are important to you. Helping you sort through your emotions, ideas, boundaries, relationships, values, identity, and where you want to go in life (and attempt to take care of yourself in the process). I bring creativity, humor, experiential approaches (art or somatic work), and trauma-informed perspectives to how I work. I am also a queer and neurodivergent identified therapist, so I understand the process of coming to understand yourself when you feel different from the world around you.

I help college students with anxiety, ADHD and family conflict. I specialize in helping them with the uncertainty of being on their own, the pressure of pleasing their family, and working through relationship stressors to graduate. Most of my clients are young men making a transition to launching and women that feel judged by other women and family.

College and early adulthood can feel overwhelming, isolating, and confusing, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. As a therapist, I’m committed to creating a space where students feel seen, supported, and empowered to navigate both the challenges and growth opportunities that come with college life. My approach blends compassion, collaboration, and trauma-informed practices to help students build resilience, deepen self‑understanding, and move toward meaningful change. I work with individuals facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship stress, academic pressure, and career counseling. My goal is to meet each client with curiosity and respect, honoring their unique story and personal strengths. I understand as a student how hectic academic life can be. I strive to facilitate a therapeutic space where individuals can freely communicate their feelings, find their own voice, and process their experiences. Together, we identify what’s getting in the way and develop useful tools to support emotional well‑being and personal thriving. If you are interested in beginning therapy or have any questions about my therapy services I am happy to chat by phone or email.

Dude, life be lifing, huh? You are SO not alone in that. Living in late-stage capitalism is enough for all of us to go to therapy. Your unique experiences and circumstances shape how you move through the world and navigating them can be burdensome. The good news? You don't have to keep pretending everything is okay. Here, you don't have to perform, filter, or pretend. I offer a relaxed, approachable space where you can show up exactly as you are, and I'd be honored to exist in that space with you.

Many of the students I work with appear to have everything under control, yet privately feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of themselves. You may be struggling with stress, perfectionism, relationships, family expectations, loneliness, depression, or major life transitions. Some students are navigating identity, independence, or the challenges of balancing academics, work, and personal life, or simply feel stuck in patterns they don't fully understand. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.

Hi, I’m Megan. I’m a somatic therapist and have been in practice for almost 10 years. I work with individuals to meet what’s coming up, be it anxiety, overwhelm, relationship patterns, past experiences, or whatever may be happening for you. I support my clients through present moment connection, bringing curiosity and kindness to what’s here, and making space for your experience to be seen and met. One of the things I love about somatic therapy is the understanding that we all have an innate impulse toward health and wholeness inside of us. I meet my clients where they are at, and help create the conditions so your inner wisdom can come through and more of you can be here.

Life can feel overwhelming and hard. Trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain, relationship difficulties, identity questions, and major life transitions can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and uncertain about how to move forward. At Evolve in Nature, we believe therapy should provide a safe, compassionate, judgment-free, and shame-free space where you can speak openly, explore what you are experiencing, and feel supported as you work toward meaningful change. Our approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy. We recognize that difficult experiences can affect the mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and the way you experience the world. Our clinicians use individualized, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approaches that may include EMDR, somatic and body-centered therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based work, psychological education, and nature-based interventions. Rather than simply addressing symptoms, we help clients better understand the patterns and experiences beneath them while developing practical skills for emotional regulation, resilience, healthier relationships, and lasting growth. Evolve in Nature offers individual, couples, and group therapy for adults and young adults facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. Areas of support include trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic illness and pain, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, identity exploration, LGBTQ+ concerns, adult children of alcoholics, and other experiences that may interfere with feeling connected, grounded, and fulfilled. Psychiatric medication management is also available for individuals who may benefit from medication as part of a thoughtful and collaborative treatment plan. Therapy may take place in our welcoming Boulder office, virtually, or outdoors when nature-based work is appropriate and meaningful to the client. Outdoor therapy may involve walking, sitting in a natural environment, or intentionally using nature to support grounding, reflection, nervous-system regulation, and connection. Nature does not replace the therapeutic relationship; it offers another setting and resource through which healing and personal growth can occur. Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable or intimidating. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out, and you do not need to carry everything alone. At Evolve in Nature, we meet you where you are, take time to understand your experiences and goals, and work collaboratively to determine the support that is right for you. Healing is possible. Growth is possible. You are capable of evolving into a more connected, resilient, and authentic version of yourself.
