I believe in a therapeutic process that is collaborative and flexible — meeting my clients where they are to foster meaningful growth and change. I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and honest reflection to create a non-judgmental space for self-exploration. I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing emotional struggles, low self-esteem, transitional issues, and attachment injuries. My aim is to collaboratively help you understand patterns in which you feel stuck, find relief from narratives that are no longer yours, and learn how to move towards your goals. I am a graduate of Columbia’s School of Social Work and have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). I am intensively trained in working with body image issues and disordered eating. My style is warm, genuine, and non-judgmental while providing transparent feedback throughout the therapeutic process to maximize emotional growth and healing. I work as a supportive and collaborative partner with each of my clients to find and achieve long-term solutions.

I believe in a collaborative healing approach. Together, we identify areas of concern and develop strategies for change. I also believe in exploring the underlying causes of our struggles. My approach is varied, taking and blending techniques from a variety of sources, rather than relying on a single system of intervention. I strive to create a safe environment for my clients to explore their world in an authentic way. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Colorado. College can bring a lot: new freedom, pressure to succeed, and the stress of figuring out who you are and where you are headed. Many of the students I work with feel weighed down by anxiety, burnout, overthinking, imposter syndrome, or the pressure to be perfect. Others are coping with ADHD, past/current trauma, anxiety and social anxiety or just the everyday stress of classes, relationships, and big transitions. With 12 years of experience working in university counseling centers, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges of college and graduate students' lives. In our work together, you will find a supportive space to talk honestly about what is on your mind, learn coping tools to manage stress, and feel more grounded and confident. My goal is to help you feel less alone and more able to handle the challenges of college life.

WELCOME! I'm so glad you're here. Many of the people I work with are adults who’ve carried more than their fair share — the ones who look capable on the outside but feel anxious or disconnected on the inside. They've usually spent years masking ADHD/AuDHD, are deeply sensitive, and/or are trying to heal from complex trauma (CPTSD). If this sounds like you, I want you to know you're not alone, and you don’t have to keep trying to “figure it out” by yourself. I won’t hand you a checklist or tell you to breathe it away - I promise! Therapy with me is about noticing what’s alive for you and finding ways to move through patterns that have kept you stuck. With over 25 years of experience, and decades dedicated to my own recovery, I offer both professional expertise and a deeply lived understanding to our sessions. I’m quirky, a little unconventional, and definitely human. In our work together, we'll go beyond simply talking about your life. I'll help you to shift out of over-thinking and connect with the wisdom of your heart and body. That’s where your strength and self-trust already live, and where the parts of you that know how to heal can be heard. My therapy dog, Leasel, often joins us, offering her calm presence when words aren’t enough. I draw from approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapy, integrated with Conscious Living principles. This work helps us uncover patterns that have been shaping your experiences and guides you toward change that's meaningful and actually lasts. Why I May Be A Good Fit For You I believe complex trauma shapes how we connect and move through the world—but those patterns can soften when we’re met with compassion and someone who’s been there. I grew up in a family that looked good on the outside but was marked by addiction and narcissism and it taught me how essential it is to be seen for who we truly are. I'm passionate about helping sensitive people know that hope is real, no matter what. I believe healing happens when we can be honest with ourselves and experience real connection. I show up as a real person—warm and down-to-earth. I also believe animals and nature offer healing when words fall short. I care deeply about neurodivergent folks, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and creating space for anyone who’s ever felt like they're on the outside looking in. I look forward to connecting with you!
As a psychologist, I partner with clients to help them heal from raw emotional pain, recognize their inner strengths, and build resiliency in the face of life’s biggest challenges. My style is one that is warm and nurturing while also direct and honest. If you’re feeling stuck, not good enough, lonely, overwhelmed, devastated, or ashamed, you are not alone. I have dedicated my career to learning gold standard treatments to ensure that when clients have the courage to reach out for help, I am able to offer treatment interventions that they can trust will make a difference. I am a clinical specialist with expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, depression, complicated grief (suicide loss, perinatal loss), and unwanted sexual experiences (rape, sexual assault, harassment, violence). I began practicing in 2005 and have been a licensed psychologist since 2010.
