Whether you're seeking to develop meaningful friendships or intimate relationships, I'm here to lend a listening ear and provide guidance. Navigating peer pressure is also a common challenge in college life, and I'm here to help you tackle those situations with confidence. No matter what you're facing, you don't have to go through it alone. I understand that finances can be tight for students, which is why I offer flexible rate options. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with six years of experience, my work is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and young adults from all backgrounds navigate life's challenges. Whether you're working through trauma, a mental health diagnosis, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, family or social conflict, or a difficult life transition, you don't have to face it alone. My specialties include PTSD and trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders. Beyond diagnosis, I also support patients with stress management, self-esteem, social skills, coping skill development, and crisis intervention. Wherever you are in your journey, my goal is to be a compassionate, trustworthy partner who meets you exactly where you are, because you deserve to feel heard, empowered, and confident in your growth. Collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care is at the heart of everything I do. Each of our sessions is built on authenticity and compassion, and I tailor my approach to your unique situation and needs so that what we work on together feels meaningful and relevant to your life. You can expect a space that is nonjudgmental and genuinely supportive. Using an integrated therapeutic approach, we'll work through life's hardships in a way that honors your experiences and builds on your existing strengths. The goal is for you to feel understood, capable, and empowered to create lasting, meaningful change. My path to this work was shaped by a deeply personal experience during graduate school, where I encountered hardship, judgment, and misunderstanding from professional counselors based on my own identities. Rather than diminish my passion, that experience ignited it, clarifying exactly the kind of therapist I wanted to be: one who shows up with full authenticity and compassion for every person who walks through the door. Working with children, adolescents, and young adults has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. These times taught me that even one person, with genuine positivity and empathy, can make a meaningful difference for someone who has never had that kind of relationship before. This belief grounds my work every day. I bring an open-minded perspective to each session because I believe you hold the key to overcoming the challenges you've faced. My role is to walk alongside you as you find it. Outside of sessions, you'll find me coloring, tackling puzzles, playing board games, or heading outdoors for an adventure. Staying active and creative keeps me grounded, and I bring that same energy and curiosity into the care I provide.

Hi, I'm Angela! I'm here to help. Let me ask you: Does your life not quite feel the same? Are you finding it hard to cope? Are you struggling with relationships, having work or school difficulties, going through a life transition, maybe a loss, or continually trying to overcome a past trauma? Despite your best efforts, you're feeling tired, anxious, stressed, confused, depressed, angry, or afraid. You just can't seem to find the answers. Well, I'm here to help you navigate the changes and uncertainties in your life so you can build your confidence, find answers, and take charge of your life in a meaningful way. I can provide a safe, trusting, and nonjudgmental atmosphere to guide you on a journey to build new tools, discover your truth, overcome obstacles, gain clarity, and heal. I will do that by using compassion, curiosity, empathy, and a little bit of humor along the way. My areas of expertise are trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life changes. I want you to find the best fit for your needs, and I encourage you to check out my website and reach out to me to discuss whether we're a good match. I feel it is important to take the time to identify your options before scheduling an appointment with any therapist. I look forward to hearing from you!

I work with college students and young adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, performance pressure, and emotional shutdown — even when they are capable and motivated. Many of the students I support struggle with test anxiety, presentations, interviews, perfectionism, panic symptoms, or the sense that their nervous system goes into “fight or flight” under pressure. Others experience anxiety and depression together, which can affect motivation, focus, and connection. My approach is neuroscience-informed and practical. I use evidence-based therapies including EMDR, ACT, CBT, Polyvagal-informed therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients regulate their nervous system, reduce reactivity, and build confidence in real-world situations. I provide a supportive, structured space where students can develop tools to manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience

What makes Restoration Psychology different? We know you have various options for treatment providers and therapy. Restoration Psychology is deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive treatment for all people. We strive to help our clients restore mental well being and reduce psychological stress. We know that each individual and family has a unique set of needs and cultural values that can impact treatment. Our clinicians work hard to understand our clients from a bio-psycho-social- spiritual lens. We want to tailor each treatment approach to fit your needs. We are a full-service counseling center specializing in faith-based counseling through a unique bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens aimed at integrating the full self by renewing what has been damaged, revitalizing what has decayed, and rebuilding what has deteriorated. In order to do this, we must explore each aspect of the individual—their physical characteristics (race, ethnicity, health issues etc.), mental/emotional states, relationships with others (including family and community groups), and faith convictions. This allows us to take the first step of the journey toward restoration. Because spiritual belief influences one’s worldview, it also greatly influences the individual and is, therefore, an important aspect to be explored. We promise to work with you where you are, no matter your faith background. We will provide a safe space for you to confront any issues that arise in a judgment-free environment.

With a background in social work and a deep commitment to trauma-informed care, I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate trauma, anxiety, emotional challenges, and life transitions. Whatever you're working through, my goal is to help you feel genuinely understood, build on the strengths you already carry, and move toward lasting healing and emotional well-being. Compassion and collaboration are at the heart of how I work. Every person brings with them a unique story, and I look forward to hearing yours as a supportive partner in the healing process. My style is trauma-informed, collaborative, and nonjudgmental — and the environment I create reflects that. Helping you build confidence and emotional regulation skills within a space that feels genuinely safe and empowering is what I'm most passionate about. Treatment is always tailored to your unique needs and goal. Using trauma-focused and strengths-based approaches, I work with you to build coping skills, process difficult emotions, and feel more at home in yourself. My path to becoming a therapist began in the behavioral health field, working directly with children and teens. This role quickly taught me the importance of building strong, supportive relationships, and how those relationships could change the trajectory of a young person's healing. Watching patients develop coping skills and emotional regulation tools they'd carry with them long after our sessions, I knew this was the work I was meant to do. From there, I moved into trauma-focused therapy with children and adolescents and haven't looked back since. Those years deepened my commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care, and reinforced my belief that every person, regardless of age or circumstance, has an innate ability to grow. That conviction, along with empathy and patience, is something I bring to every session we share. In my free time, I enjoy reading, journaling and solo traveling. I find that I am my happiest when I am surrounded by mountains and close to a good coffee shop!

My approach is multifaceted, I use different approaches depending on what you need, offering a compassionate space to explore your experiences and build meaningful tools for growth. Whether you're navigating the aftermath of trauma; finding your footing in a new city, state, or country; or sitting with grief, anxiety, or questions about who you are, you don't have to figure it out alone. As an LPC candidate with three years of experience, my work centers on helping people process trauma, move through major life transitions, and build lives that feel meaningful and aligned with their values. Survivors of trauma, sexual violence, domestic abuse, and natural disasters are at the heart of my practice, and so are immigrants and refugees working to build a new life in a new culture. Beyond trauma recovery, support is available for grief and loss; questions related to sex, sexuality, and relationships; and the very real anxiety that can come from living through climate change and other global stressors. Many of the people who come to me are trying therapy for the very first time, and finding practical, tangible ways to improve daily life is something we work toward together from the start. Therapy is also available in Spanish for those who prefer it. This is your process, and collaboration is at the center of everything we do together. The therapeutic space we build will be safe, transparent, and gently challenging – a place where growth feels possible without pressure. Drawing primarily from EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy, my work is tailored to help you process trauma, reconnect with your body and values, and shift beliefs and patterns that are no longer serving you. When a particular approach or intervention seems useful, the reasoning behind it will always be shared with you, and your feedback shapes what comes next. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help that self-expertise shine through, and to make sure the practical strategies we build together are ones you can actually use beyond our sessions to make lasting, meaningful improvements in your daily life. I know what it's like to not have all the answers right away. My path to becoming a therapist didn't begin until my mid-thirties, after years of different careers, different countries, and many different versions of the question “who am I?” Those years of exploration ultimately made it clearer than ever that this work is what was meant for me. All of these varied experiences and perspectives come into the room with us. More importantly, they inform how deeply committed I am to helping you sit with your own uncertainty, to recognize its value, and to use it as a starting point for moving toward your own internal wisdom. Creative expression is a big part of life outside the therapy room. Writing, watercolors, and pottery are longtime passions, and languages are another, always learning, always looking for opportunities to connect across cultures. Traveling and trying new foods (and then attempting to recreate them at home) bring a lot of joy, as does time spent with my cat, Ernie.

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. It's important to find someone that you can relate to and most importantly someone that you trust. We will work together to create a secure relationship, where you begin to feel less alone experiencing emotional vulnerability. My capacity to truly see you, and your capacity to feel comfortable being seen, will be essential to your healing. It is my belief that lasting growth does not occur as a result of insight and understanding alone. Deep healing and change happen when you are able to explore new emotional experiences and to try new behaviors, in the presence of a supportive person (therapist). I work with adults and older adolescents to address old wounds, to increase self compassion and to develop increased emotional stability and flexibility. If you are interested in learning more about me and my practice, please visit my website or email/call to schedule a brief phone consultation.
