Samantha Malfitano
Hi! I’m Sam Malfitano! A mother, mental health advocate, writer, speaker, coach, mentor & friend. Dedicated to uplifting humanity for the greater good, creating a ripple affect of positivity through acts of kindness & inspiring hope through peace, faith & love. My life’s work as a holistic psychotherapist, Spiritual Life coach, psychology instructor & mindfulness/meditation teacher allows me the opportunity to serve those who are on a journey of self discovery. To witness people coming home to themselves is one of the greatest miracles of all time.
When people feel safe to express all of their feelings, true healing can begin. For many, they have repressed these emotions for years, creating a disconnect from the mind, body & soul, Which separates you from your true self. You may feel stuck, depleted, lacking purpose, motivation & direction. Searching externally within people, places & things to give you relief, only to find this is just a temporary solution. Resulting in symptoms & behaviors such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, panic, self harm, suicidal ideation, substance use, and others, to cope with these old painful emotions & memories.
The way to the healing, is through the feeling. You have to feel it to heal it & breathe to access peace. The deep dive is essential. You must turn inward to begin repairing the relationship to all the parts of yourself you may be running from. All the things that make you, YOU.
This process, although uncomfortable at times, will help you break long held self sabotage cycles, limiting beliefs & negative thought patterns & allow you to reconnect to your inner world. You will feel relief, gratitude, confidence, self-love & the inner peace of mind that you have been searching for! Best of all you will learn how to embrace the human experience, and ride the waves of emotion through different seasons of life with grace and ease.
As a Trauma Informed practitioner, I Understand how & where emotion is stored in the body. “The issues are in our tissues” means the taking a deeper look into the nervous system at how we become programmed to live in survival mode. Teaching you skills to self-regulate, integrate parts work & release this emotional energy, to feel a sense of relief & freedom.
Finding someone you can connect with is an important first step. I invite you, to meet with me, to see if we would be a good fit & to open the door to having a successful therapeutic experience. I am looking forward to being part of your healing journey.
